	For Labour: As much as it puts alot of pressure on ur stumach try 2 stay upright,itll get it over with quickly! also try n eat as much as u can b4 going into hospital u rlly will need the energy!! When your baby crys dnt automatically presume it needs milk, try dummy and even cold boiled water! getting them into having milk every time thy cry means theyll always expect it n ull ava rather big baby! I done all that wrong lol!! Realy good way of getting them 2 sleep through is by bathing thm same time every night and thn wrappiing them tightly in a shawl after there bath and give thm a bottle! the shawl gives them security so thy think there being cuddled all night!

	hi ya just read the bit above you wrote i found labour painful with my first due to pre eclampsia which made my cintractions faster and stronger i had peth and gasn air but was unable to satay mobile as my legs turned to jelly lol. my labour was 3hrs 10 weighin 6lb 13 at 38 weeks. with my sone was alot easier as i new what to exspect and had just gas n air he was born in 2hrs 10 weighing 8lb 5 at 7 dats late. with all new babies i can only adbise feed on demand if beast feeding as you dont know how much there getting and you shouldn't give any other fluid other then formular as water fills them up and will stop them taking a fill feed. try not to cuddle little one too much more so when quiet or asleep as they be come clingy and depenent on you too get them settled ans asleep, i had this with my first and regret it no as she a real pain lol. i mendind my ways with my son and hes great but evry baby is differnt though so are each of our exaperiance.

	the only fing i have lernt oav the 2 weeks is wen i put my baby down he cries and cries cos he dusnt wana b seperated from me so i have to have him in my bed to slep the nite wich isnt advised, but now i get someone else to cuddle him 4 a few minutes so that the bond between me and him has alredy been broken te nget them 2 put him in his cot, and he sleeps!! magic!!

	as hard as it is to listen to ur baby cry, especialy wen ur tierd yourself, dont let your baby fall asleep on your chest, leave him/her on your chest until they r nearly asleep then put them down, this will teach them to fall asleep by themselves. bt i will not lie, it is very hard to do... good luk x

	never just give a baby a dummy. i never did. and it doesnt solve anything. and mine are fab... DONT DO IT!! BAD ADVICE SAYIN WHEN A BABY CRIES DONT ASSUME ITS HUNGRY. TRY IT WITH A DUMMY!!!! BAD BAD BAD!!! and dont give up. i no its hard. and i never had any family help. but dont let your babies sleep in your bed. its a bad habbit to start. they need to settle themselfs. its difficult to hear them cry. and only when there safe in there cot. DURR a dummy does not make babies thick....thats not wot i meant. i meen dummies dont ave to be used. people just expect that its wot a baby wants. but its not. and it dont harm not to give them one. my kinda little half sister. had a dummy and she well bright.

	if any of you are trying to breastfeed but are having trouble with the little one latching on or they are to lazy to suck when on the breast, dont worrie. i had the same trouble with my little one and ended up with mastitus after that i decided to stop and just give her expressed and formular then when i was in boots i found these things called nipple shilds and they work wonders, baby thinks they are drinking outta a bottle, they stop you getting soar nipples and you still have the clossness with you child. although i still give olivia-mai formular outta a bottle i use my breast milk as a top up and for her night feed. some prople to have mixed feelings wheather nipple shilds are good or not but i personaly think they are wonderful. xxx

	with babys who are teething i find the best thing is to get the teethers with the water in and put them in the frezzer instead of the fridge because they can bite them easier!!

	DONT BE TWO SOFT WITH THE BABY BECAUSE MINE IS 3N HALF N HE WALKS ALL OVER ME AS IM TWO SOFT WITH HIM DICIPLIN IST A CRIME A KID NEADS IT AND IM JUST TWO LATE AND WEN THEY ARE SLEEPING DONT KREEP AROUND THE HOUSE LET THEM GET USED TO THE NOISE AND WOT EVER U DO DONT LET THEM SLEEP WITH YOU BECAUSE MY LITTLE BOY WILL NOT SLEEP IN HIS OWN BED HE USED TO SLEEPING WIV ME NOW I CANT GET HIM IN HIS OWN BED AND ITS HORRIBAL WEN U GOT PARTNER !!!!!!!

	Ma boi iz 8 days! Av learnt lwds! Bathtime Kai crys n crys So i was tld to pt a flannel ova is belly its elps them feel safe n oh my it works Kai luvs baths nw it weird ow e change so quick BedTime Lyk ppl abuv sed wen they cry dnt automatic pik dem up kai sumtimes is stil fst asleep n crys =S So i leave im & e shuts up! Bt if e carries on i pick im up rok im den put im bk rap im up & Voila e sleeps! Feeding Kai seems t always b ungry so my hv tld me try cold boiled water wen its near feed time, so i did, it tuk a few days for im t space out wiv the food bt it dus work! UthasI av a daughter whos 5 she wants t feed im & gt up in the nyt wiv im & it wareing me n er out! So nw i let her elp out as mch as she can threw the day so she dusnt wnt t gt up in the nyt! must admit at skool lily is a terror bt er teachas av sed since kai az bin born shi az bin excellent! 	giving a baby a dummy does NOT make them less advanced, this is suppose to be advice not trying to put mothers down because they have a dummy, i know lots of children who had dummies, who are perfectly fine, it is rubbish that giving a child a dummy makes them less advanced!

	Take each day as it comes, things will get hard! If u ever feel ur about to break down, go into ur room, lie on ur bed and scream in to ur pillow it sooooooo helps!!!! Dummies can realli help kids with collich so sayin they make them far less advanced is rediculous! The potty trainin stage is realli hard tho! Try and reward them if they manage to do it by giving them 1/2 a digestive for the first few days, theyll get the hint, Also try telling them they have to do it to b big ie like some1 they know it realli helps!

	that comment made about nt bein 2 soft on kids... im real soft on my 2 n a half yr old son yet hes good as gold. my advice is try 2b as calm as u can towards ur lil 1, im a real calm person (well most of the timw) wich i think is y my son is calm n well behaved. if sum1s gona keep shoutin the kid will do the same, u dnt wana get in2 that good luck x

	.......i never meant a dummy makes babies thick. i trying to say, that, dont assume you need to use one. coz they can get on without them.and they do get attached. then you aquire another problem of tryin to get rid of them. i didnt use them and my babies were great. i just thou. its bad advice to just say give em a dummy. coz thats all.

	the best advice i can gv yung mums nd dads is routine!! get bby in a routine nd yul av YU tyme, which i fink is wot mst parents need to sty sane. also if yur bbys ill, cold, virus etc juz rememba not to panic, panicin can make the situation seem worse, nd stock up on calpol too!! well if nebody wnts advice juz ask mi nd il help yu as much as i can x x x

	shes soooo right about the routine thing. i didnt with my 1st. and i was up and down like a yo-yo. but did with 2nd n 3rd. and life was much easier. but depends on how your baby feeds. its possible to routine a baby on bottles, but not so easy on the breast.

	Helo i dun ava baby but ma sistah as 1 n so dus ma cuson. Ive pickd up alot frm ma nephew habbits tho lol hes 17 months old. Wen he was 1st born he h8d not bein held coz e didnt feel safe jus wrap em up tight (but so day cn stil breathe) n lay dem down also stroke them between da eyes n to da top of dere nose it comforts dem alot. Ma nephew h8d da bath so ma mum decided to sit him in her laundry basket and as it has holes round da side da water cn go in and out. Da bath was jus so big he got scared and needed reasurin nw we cnt get im out of it. If u hava problem getin rid of dummies get da child 2 throw dem away. Ma nephew has got rid of 1 but he has others and they wil go soon as he loves putin things in da bin. Also to get the bubba out of havin dummies during the day put them in a see through box so they no day r dere stil then let them pick the 1 day wnt 4 bed n let them put it bk in wen day wake up. Wen cleanin let da kid elp day wnt get in da way den. Hoped dis as elpd xxx
