"It's A Good Life"

	A Delightful Day	506 días hace
	A poem I wrote during a recent 10 day stay and operation in hospital A Delightful Day A summer breeze, The sound of bees, Lots of folks with grass stained knees, The best time to sail the seas, Is under the sun with crackers and cheese. Cheddar, stilton, mozzarella too, The smell of cheese in your shoe, The fungus inside just grew, grew, grew, And that rodent beside by the name of Shrew. He scurried among the leaves all day, And liked to chill amongst the hay, Until the farmer shooed him away, And told the shrew to go out and play. Not a happy chappy, that farmer McKay, He grabbed the shrew as if to say, Get out of here or I'll make you pay, Under a summer breeze on that delightful day. Nathan Clough
