LOSTPROPHETS GIG - WEMBLEY ARENA - 22ND APRIL 2007
supported by adain and taking back sunday

Despite all the problems with rail replacement, me adam and denise eventually got to wembley arena about 10 minutes before adain kicked off the nite. i got a nice shiny red wembley arena wristband lol.

Adain

i'd never listened to this band except once when i wasn't paying much attention so i looked rather stupid standing there. luckily about 90% of the audience had no clue either. they had there moments and started a "wall of death" which added to the enjoyment.

Taking Back Sunday

I heard this band for the first time this week and there live performance was just as good. i still stood there looking quite stupid but now i knew bits of chorus i cut sing along to so i looked a little less stupid. this was a perfect starter to the main course that was lostprophets.

Lostprophets

The moment everyone had waited for all nite started with a white curtain over the front of the stage with blue lights on it (see video in flash box). the music started and the shadow of the pianist was shown on the curtain with a red light. the rest of the band then appeared in strobe effect. the curtain dropped at the end and the gig was ready to get started.

Lostprophets done all the classics that we know and love including Burn Burn (see video links above) but also played a song from their new album they have been working on. the song was called "(stand by) the choice you made" (i think) and seemed to edge more towards the heavier side from the first 2 albums.

Just before they played "make a move" the heat got to Adam B and he puked up what can only be described as "Solid dog food like sick" because he had no hydration in his system. we went out got some water and returned for the rest of the gig.

Lostprophets started a mexican wave before the 2nd from last song going right around the arena before coming up the middle (see video list above). they then ended the night with shinobi.

For a first gig i thought this was brilliant and would definatly go see them again......

last train home

the one we missed.... yes coincedently unlike the band we missed the last train. we had to bum around London Liverpool Street for 30 minutes before getting the train to Shenfield. when at Shenfield Adam managed to get his mum to come and pick him up (and me at the same time. thanks adz) so we could get home.

At 2:15am, i got indoors

thanks for reading this. and remember to check out the photos and movies from chris
