	theRITES have also enjoyed being credited as one of Scotlands' top 3 unsigned acts at a recent showcase at Glasgow's Carling Academy, with their keyboard player being hailed as best all-round musician. A very similar compliment was paid following their outstanding performance at this years' goNORTH showcase, which saw the RITES hailed, again, as one of Scotlands' top unsigned acts. The band continue to spread their music and recently completed a UK tour that saw them play London, Liverpool, Manchester, Derby, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Dundee, Aberdeen and Inverness. theRITES are currently working on their new EP with Rise2Red Studio producer Graham Gillanders, who has worked with the likes of Atomic Kitten and is ex-OMD keyboard player. The new EP is due out in late August, which will be accompanied by a 2 week tour of the UK and even a couple of dates planned in Paris and close-Europe.
