Had my Music Technology exams today. I don't think either was too bad to be honest, but the first was defiantly the harder of the two. It wasn't really the questions that were hard, it was the amount of time you had to do the questions.

Once they were out of the way, I decided to go to the railway. Instead of taking the usual Ilkeston Flyer back to Derby and catching the 9.1 to Butterley, I decided to catch the Black Cat (with new Optare buses) and then swap to the R1 in Heanor.

The first half went alright, but then the R1 didn't appear in Heanor, so I just caught the H1 to Newlands Inn and walked through the (by now very soggy) country park to Swanwick Junction - not a good idea in jeans, which don't dry out that quickly!

Got to the model railway at about half past one, and generally had a laugh instead of playing trains due to the lack of people actually there (what do you expect on a Thursday during term time?)

Kev arrived at about half past 3, and we all had quite a laugh; Kev retrieving his 'Lima Shunter which resembles nothing and used to be a 37' from a pot of motor oil, which he'd left outside for about 3 days to take the paint off!

Alex and I left at about half past five and I went home. Watched Sky High on ITV1 then went on the computer for a while.
