	I was just on Rick O'Sheas 2fm radio show!	1073 jours il y a
	HAHAHA! Im spreading the manatee love!!!!! I was listening to a very popular national Irish radio show, hosted by a guy called Rick O'Shea, on my way home today. They were dicussing highlights of the year so of course I had to text in and tell them about getting a video shown on Late Night. I was more than a little suprised when they rang me back about 2 minutes later and asked if I'd go on air and talk about it. Well any chance to spread the Late Night love is an opportunity I must seize, so of course I said yes. I sat nervously on the phone listening to him play a song and then reading out text messages and finally I was up. He called me in and asked what the highlight of my year had been. I explained that I was obsessed with a programme called Late Night with Conan O'Brien (he said he's a very funny man and he likes him a lot - needless to say I love Rick O'Shea now) so I told him that he has a running joke about manatee's at the moment and they were asking for fan pictures and stories and I had made a claymation video and sent it in thinking nothing of it and it had been shown on Late Night last tuesday! He was stunned. He actually cheered and applauded me! On national Irish radio! He said he was far more impressed by that than any of the other things he had heard! He then asked if I was doing clay mation professionally, I explained no Im a student of Multimedia in DCU and he was very impressed saying it was fantasic for my portfolio. "Here's my portfolio and here's my work being shown on Late Night with Conan O'Brien" He asked what it was all about. So I explained the entire story behind www.hornymanatee.com to a good portion of the Irish nation that was listening. All about the throw away comment and having to buy the name, deciding to set up the site, asking for submissions and my video being shown on air. He was very, very impressed and asked if I'd send him the link. He's now going to add my YouTube video to his, very well read blog! HAHAHA! This manatee thing is turning me into somewhat of a minor celebrity!!!!

	I didn't even know this!! That's so cool!! Did u get a lot of response from it? Was it embarassing to explain the story of horny manatees on the radio? You are on your way!!! I wish I had anything at all for my portfolio... must do something with life.... Oh, and this is Abby... not Paul... I'm at his house right now, yes that's right
