	“When I almost died” by Charles Wood It was winter and the snow was lying thick, I gazed down the gray slope and took a final breath. It was time. For a second or two time slowed down, it was at that precise moment I saw my destiny flash before my eyes. I held the rickety old sledge tight to my chest and lunged forwards landing expertly on the snow. I braced myself for a bumpy ride and what a bumpy ride it would be. As I hurtled down the slope gathering slightly more speed than was initially calculated I realized quickly that my life was in the hands of the most evil of forces, gravity. After a terrifying few second I saw a gray mound, I held tight but it was no good. I hit the gray mound at a very high speed and slid face first into the snow. The sledge that I thought I was still holding tight to my chest had actually escaped my desperate grip and spun around in the air a few times before landing on my head. With a mouth full of snow and a very bruised ego I shouted “ I think I need the kiss of life”

	oooh i can win this hands down!! queen anne, 3rd yr i think, walking down to the chip van via jacks and i come running down the hill and jumped on ur back not realising u werent steady and both of us crashing in a heap in front of everyone!! u ended up with a stookie on ur leg and crutches which me, benji and des proceeded to steal on a regular basis!! thank god u forgave me!! luv ya babes xx

	Has to be the time we were sledgin just before chics near death experience standin at the top of some god awful dangerous hill in the middle of bloody saline! 3 feet of snow widdle of minter there is me and chic danncin and singin to you laura and dianne " I LOVE YOU BABY" it was sooo funny! and you were to scared to go down the hill if i remember coz you didnt want to mess your hair! Think you were still in that hondy faze! HaHa.
