OK!... As you might have noticed, there are a lot of songs by the likes of DJ "Not Namimg Any 1 But You Know Who" and other DJs on bebo. Some of these 200 BPM (beats per minute - tempo of a song and 200 is quite a fast tempo as a typical 'drum and bass' is like 160 - 170 BPM) 'DJs' or 'BOOTLEGGERS' have got into the habit of calling themselves 'producers'.

Basically what they do is take a song from, lets say 'clubland 9' which is a well known album in the shops and they speed it up, add out of time vocals onto it and then maybe if they have some bit of brain, put it into a program called 'acid pro' and add extra FX. The result is a typical song you hear on an average 13 yr old's flashbox anywhere on bebo, you know what I'm talkin about. So this 'end product' is then renamed under another name & usually comes with a 'DJ __ in the mix mother f**k*r'' somewhere in the tangled mess of what used to be a song.

Most of this are done by bored 13-17 yr olds who obviously are retarded considering their mixing is shockingly F'ed up, and just want to be known in their area. I'm going to tell you now how these people are wrecking the dance industry and a stop needs to be put to this practice of RUINING DANCE MUSIC. As the title says im gonna tell you people the difference between a DJ, producer and a wannabe..

PLEASE READ THE NEXT PART PROPERLY AND TAKE IN WHAT IM SAYING:::

PRODUCER
a producer is a person who makes music from scratch. It can be any type of music, and can be made using hardwares, softwares or just insruments. The songs are built from a single note all the way to a full song. Not going into the 'instruments' part, I'll name a few software programs for people that might want to get into the industry. It is a tough skill to learn and most importantly you need a good ear for music to learn it a bit faster. Now programs for producing on PCs would be:

FRUITYLOOPS
REASON
LOGIC
CUBASE
ABLETON LIVE

If I missed any then please do let me know. Notice how 'Acid Pro' isn't in the list. You'll realise why later. Ok we'll move onto DJs...

DJ or DISC JOCKEY
a DJ is a person who loves to listen to & mix music, and usually have a large collection of CDs or vinyls. There are different types of DJs, such as bar & club DJs, bedrooms DJs, radio DJs and more. Most of these ppl are good at mixing their songs and know how to entertain a crowd, ensuring a good night or party or some other occasion. much respect goes to these people because they have learnt a skill which does take time to learn. also, these are the people that influence the 'wannabes', and get them into the djing side of music.

Enough said about DJs. Lets move onto the 'wannabes'. hehe!

THE WANNABE

This is where your extra attention is required.
A typical wannabe profile:

13-17 yrs old
Likes dance music
Usually hangs out with a crowd and loves to smoke hash and drink a lot.
Major attention seeker, hence the 'producin'...lol!

So about the DJing and producing:::

ACID PRO IS NOT A MUSIC PRODUCTION PROGRAM, IT IS FOR MIXIN AND RECORDING MUSIC!!!
If you're are going to mix songs, DO IT RIGHT. WE DONT WANT TO HEAR CHIPMUNKS
& OUT OF TIME VOCALS!!!
Speeding up songs and adding SQUEAKY acapellas IS NOT PRODUCING.
DJ R***IN & 'THE PRODUCERS'... LOL.. DON'T PRODUCE.
They RIPOFF already produced songs and RENAME them as their own. They do this because they want people to respect them and WANNABE a REAL DJ or producer.
It is a bad trend that has emerged in the dance industry and I'm only telling you all this so you will know the difference between an attention seeker and a talented dj or musician.

SUMMARY
if u stop listening to these people, they will get fed up eventually and this trend will die. it is not cool to be a wannabe and they obviously are too immature to change their ways. they will in time grow up hopefully and move onto something else. I hope they do, for music sake.
