	Jamaica’s Kevin Wilson and Montreal Impact unbeaten in seven games by Gary Smith, for Caribbean Net News Tuesday, May 31, 2005 MONTREAL, can// Jamaica's Kevin 'Pele' Wilson and his Montreal Impact remained unbeaten after seven games in the US United Soccer Leagues, after playing to a goalless tie with Rochester Raging Rhinos at the Claude-Robillard Sports Complex on Sunday. Playing at home for the first time this season, Impact gained another point to move into second place with 15 points behind Richmond Kickers, who are on 22 points. Making way for Ali Gerba, the man who opened his career in Montreal with a winning double strike a week ago, Wilson came on in the 51st minute but was unable to break the deadlock. Impact got their chances and Gerba should have given them the lead in the 8th minute, but the striker missed a glorious opportunity to score. Gerba received a pass from Mauro Biello in the 18-yard-box, but shot wide of the Rhinos’ goal with Dusty Hudock at guard. “We would have loved to score a goal today, especially in front of our fans," said Impact head coach Nick De Santis. "But we have to take the positive from this game, we had many scoring chances. "It’s an important point for us, and a fourth against the Rhinos. They are a team that doesn’t give a lot of room, but we kept attacking." Wilson has so far played 342 minutes this season and is the top Impact goal scorer with three goals. He also leads the team in points and shots taken. With good runs on the road, the home supporters gathered in numbers to watch their team play at home for the first time this season. With 12,086 fans turning out, a new home opener record was established for attendance. The previous mark was 8,877 set last year.
