It is difficult to learn to sing the pop music when you're a classic music singer. It is even more difficult to teach it to classic music singers when you're classic music teacher. Pop-rock rythm has nothing similar with the classic ones. The easiest way to learn is to leave aside the score and just to do music but for classic music players it usually seems too difficult.
Jean Maumene from Clamart music school is overcoming these difficulties, related to the learning-and-teaching of Queen's Somebody To Love, quite well. Look how gracefully he is moving here with the cam! By the way, this synchrony is absolutely accidental: I was moving the cam just trying to capture the chorists one by one, and it turned out to be that my hand and Jean was going the same direction at the same time and with the same speed. |
