“The Borderline is sold out! Thanks so much!”277 giorni fa

Hey guys, the Borderline gig on March 3 is completely sold out, thanks so much!! I’m looking forward to seeing you down there. But if you missed out on getting a ticket for the show, it’s all good. I’ll be back to play at the Shepherds Bush Empire on May 8. My album What Matters The Most drops four days before and the show’s going to go off like a frog in a sock. Grab your tickets now and make sure you’re there!

Cheers,

Shannon

What 2009 holds for me...282 giorni fa

Hi guys this is Shannon Noll. Welcome to my blog and let me fill you in on what’s coming up for me in 2009.

I’ll be spending a lot of time in the UK, Ireland and Europe, starting with a gig at The Borderline in London on March 3rd, my first one in the UK. It will be an acoustic show, with a couple of my band members, Matt Cornell and Chris Collins. I have heard that almost all the tickets have been sold which is great news so thanks! I look forward to seeing you at the show! We’ll be performing tracks from my new album, What Matters The Most, which comes out on May 4th, including “Lift”, “Lonely”, “Now I Run”, which I wrote for my dad, and “Shine.”

If you’ve watched cricket on Channel Five in the last three years, you will probably recognize “Shine” as the opening theme tune for the coverage. It was a big hit back home, and even Oprah seemed to like it. I hope you will too. “Shine” will be the first single from the album and will be released on April 27th, and will be available on iTunes.

I’ll also be playing Shepherds Bush Empire on May 8th before starting rehearsals in May for the 30th anniversary tour of Jeff Wayne’s War of the Worlds. In June it kicks off in arenas and stadiums across Britain, Ireland and Europe, and I play the part of Parson Nathaniel, the same role I played in the Australian tour in 2007. Justin Hayward, from the Moody Blues and Manfred Mann’s Chris Thompson are both in the cast and my wife is played by Jennifer Ellison.

That’s it for now. Thanks for all your support and I’ll catch up with you soon.

Cheers!
Shannon
