New Lodge CDIl y a 89 jours

Our Lodge are proud to announce that our New Lodge CD, 'A TRIBUTE TO THE FALLEN' is available from the Union Jack Shop on Newtownards Road, East Belfast.

The CD is a compilation of our favourite loyalist tunes that were released to commemorate the valiant sacrafice paid by the members of the Ulster Volunteers during the first World War, and more specifically to those brave soles who charged through the trenches and into the history books at the Battle of the Somme on the 1st July 1916.

Less Parades In Glasgow.Il y a 121 jours

Today it has been announced that glasgow city council want to cut the amount of parades each year from 250 to 20.

If the new policy on demonstrations and parades is agreed, next year's July 12 Orange Order Boyne Celebrations parade through Glasgow, the largest of Scotland's Loyal Order parades, could be diverted away from the city centre.

Glasgow City Council also wants to end the concept of "return parades", where individual lodges and bands return to their areas from a main demonstration.

Is this an outrage or is the future for the orange order?

This is a disscussion for not just members of L.O.L. No.98 but for every other Orangeman in Scotland.

Due to unforseen circumstance, the 'Ballycraigy Sons of Ulster F.B.' have had to withdraw from accompanying us on the day of our Annual Boyne Celebrations in July.

We would like to express our disappointment at the Band not being able to make it over, however we wish the band all the success for the future and hope to see all the lads soon.
