Well boys,that's bbs off for the tattie holidays. We will meet back in the Sea Cadet Halls on Thursday 22 October. The following week will be the Halloween Party for the Anchor Boys and Junior Section and fingers crossed we will be back in the church on 5th November.

We are hoping to hold our Enrolment Service in the Church on Thursday 12 November at 7.15pm. BBs will meet at normal times and we will go into the church for about 30 minutes to do our dedications. We hope that all parents will come along and support you.

Welcome back to the new session. We will meet in the Sea Cadets Hall up until the Tattie holidays then hopefully we might get back into the church halls. We will know more nearer the time.

The Officers were pleased to see a great turnout on Thursday especially with the bad weather. The Anchor Section got a nice surprise as we had three new starts which is great news as we were expecting to only have one from last year. Both The Junior and Company Sections were well attended.

Last week before the holidays will be Thursday 1st October.

Well done to all the boys who received awards at this session's Parent's Night.

We're looking forward to meeting all of the boys who have been promoted to the Junior and Company Sections.

Thank-you to Mr. and Mrs. Derek Scott, Church Treasurer, who was the Inspecting Officer.

Have a great summer holiday, and we'll see you on Thursday 3rd September in the Sea Cadet Halls for the start of the session 2009/10.

Well done to all the boys and their families who completed the sponsored walk at Crombie Park.
Thanks to Michael, Neil and Mandy's dad for doing the bbq. At least the rain stayed off!

Please remember that all sponsor money has to be handed on Thursday 21 May so we can let you know on Parent's Night how much has been raised.

Annual Trip / Sponsored Walk225 days ago
 
As you know, this is the 125th anniversary of the Boys Brigade.

We aere hoping that each boy will undertake 125 minutes of service to the community in order to gain a special 125th anniversary badge that is being issued.

The hour the boys spent entertaining at the Special Friends Club will go towards the service so they only have 65 minutes to do.

There will be no trip as such this year. Instead we are planning a sponsored walk on Saturday 16th May at Crombie Park which will cover the other 65 minutes service required. We hope to start at 11am and we want it to be a family affair where parents, brothers, sisters, grandparents, etc., all come along. We will supply burgers and juice and there will be races with prizes.

Official Boys Brigade sponsors forms will be given out the first week back after the holidays so the boys will have plenty of time to get sponsors. The money raised will be split between Children's Hospices and our own funds. All the money should then be handed in by 21st May as that will be our last meeting before Parent's Night.

We will resume on 23rd April in the Sea Cadet Hall.

The Company Section will meet tonight at OB's at 7:30pm.
Usual stuff; bring money, no uniform.
We'll finish up about 9:30pm.

The next meeting night (19 March) will be a visit to entertain the Special Friends Club at Ladyloan Primary School.

We'll meet there at 7:20pm for a 7:30pm start. The evening will finish at 8:30pm.

Full uniform is required.

Just to let you know there will be no Boys Brigade meeting tonight. Some of you might see this on here incase we can't get a hold of you by phone. We will meet as usual next week.

Happy New Year to all the members and boys of the 7th Arbroath Company.
The session officially started last Thursday (8-Jan-2009), and we hope everyone had a good first week back.
We're looking to use this site as the main hub for any Company announcements, so if anyone knows of any member or officer who has a bebo account who is not a member, please let us know.
