| From this Sunday thier will be an open session in the gym, from 11-12.30. John McCluskey will be thier to take the fees, Adult £3 and under 16's £2. There will be no coaching at this session, you will be responsible for your own training. the sessions will be open to anyone, so mind your manners guys, you know where the pads are, get to work. and dont ask the boxers or Kung Fu guys to spar Stevie | ||||

| Wow what a weekend, got to the hotel and weigh ins well on time, i think the officials scales were weighing heavy cos two thirds of the fighters had to hit the sauna. was good to catch up with a few friends i haven't seen for a while. we went out for a cracking Thai meal in Bolton on Friday night and while the fighters went to bed i had a small refreshment in the bar, ended up being joined by some of the coaches , big Dougie the MC and Vinny who was commentating for sky, it was superb watching those 2 halfwits getting pasted when they knew they were on camera the next day lol (see photo of the happy couple in their Dicky bows lol) the venue was outstanding the dressing room was massive and he were sharing with the Thais, Andre kubelin and Zadout, every one of them a legend, wee paul's fight was going as planned (he was winning convincingly) when he got caught in the 3rd, these things happen, just ask Micheal dicks. prior to the stoppage Paul was on form and domination the fight, a good performance and i think he will be even stronger in the 8 man in December. Rungs fight was a war, he was well ahead in the 4Th when he developed a stitch he kept trying to fight but was unable to get a breath, and was counted out, the rest of the fights were superb full of drama and great performances, not forgetting their were 6 stoppages in 10 fights, behind the scene i would like to thank Conor for helping warm Paul up and Connie for the massaging and Rung for wrapping Paul's hands as only he can. Rungs Entrance was legendary and i hope its shown when they broadcast the show in December, that's the second time hes went into the ring with a kilt, the crowd loved it, talking of crowd thanks to bunch of noisy buggers who bused it down and drowned out the other 1950 people to make it sound like a home show :-) it was great sharing the room with Seanchai and talking to the Thais, we have made some good friends and have managed while down there to finalise some of the line up for February. a great weekend guys, the fighters and the support dome us all proud, thank you again Stevie | ||||

| i have started matchmaking for the next club show, it will be at the UWS in Hamilton on the 20th February. the show will have 4-5 A class bouts and an impressive under card, anyone wanting to fight on this event let me know.
