| Hey guys -- Pod here, sitting in Cardiff watching an awesome Frank Turner DVD. I'd heard of him but have never seen him live and he's done everything himself and is finally enjoying success and recognition. Brilliant, check him out!! We shot the performance section for 'Just Over A Year' today and we're so happy with how it's looking. We shot some shots in Manchester on Sunday and finished it up today. Pictures are now up in our PICTURES section so check them out and comment them etc and tell us what you think! Irish tour is coming up starting on the 27th December and the tickets for Dublin are selling well whichi we're siked about. | Hey guys!! Just a quick blog to let you know that we've been added to The Mission District UK/Ireland tour at the last minute. Today has been stressful getting our van ready and sorting out our personal st00f so we're ready to go and party it up hardest in the UK! Can't wait to see what the UK will think of us and our music. Another bit of news is about the newest addition to the JHAH family: our new guitarist Jay Boland. We have a lot of touring committments coming up and with Des having full time education to concentrate on, he left the band, to give that his full attention. We wish him all the best with the future in whatever he ends up doing! We're doing a photoshoot with the very very lovely Tom Barnes when we're over on tour so expect new pics to be uploaded very soon and then you can get a good look at the new lineup in all it's gloriously unhealthily sexual glory.* *DISCLAIMER may not actually be glorious or sexy (unhealthily or otherwise) AND YEAH -- we're also heading out on tour with our bud budz Not Advised come December and dates will be up on our page ASAP. | Hey guys - This post goes out to everybody but specifically our Northern Irish friends. | Hey guys, Just a quick update to let you know that the Kerrang! New Blood tour has been cancelled for reasons beyond our control. We're all very annoyed about this as it would have been JHAH's first run out in the UK! We were all ready to go and couldn't wait to get out and see everyone!  We had been getting loads of messages from you guys over in the UK saying you were looking forward to the shows so just to let you know that we're announcing another tour VERY soon which is good news for around that time! ... and we're on the Twenty Twenty tour in January so hopefully we can see you there!  We're also going to the UK in November to record our new EP with good ol' Matty O'Grady (You Me At Six, Architects, Deaf Havana) so we cannot wait for people to hear the new tracks! | Hey guysss ... Time for another update I guess. Things have been pretty crazy lately so apologises for lack of updates -- for those of you who want more regular updates as they happen make sure you follow us on Twitter (@jodyhasahitlist)! Our single launch show has now OFFICIALLY SOLD OUT! This will be the very first sold out Jody Has A Hitlist show and we're all stoked on life at the moment! Thanks so much to EVERYONE who went out of their way to get a ticket and help support us as we're a relatively new band and it means the world to us that people are right there along with us every step of the way! Hopefully we can all help to blow the fucking roof off the Academy 2 this Sunday :] Can't wait to play this Saturday in Galway and then Sunday in Dublin there's a great buzz about both those shows and wanna party hard and can't wait to see all you crazy sexy peepz! Another thing we have announced is the KERRANG! New Blood tour in November -- we're going to be heading out for our first stint in the UK so we can't wait -- keep checking back for ticket links as they will be up very shortly!! ALSO -- we were just added to the Twenty Twenty January UK tour which covers some AWESOME venues and promises to be fucking amazing!! It's now going to be on the 11th October and because of Eamonn Doran's shutting down it's now going to be held in The Academy 2 and tickets (limited to 230 people) will be available to purchase from www.ticketmaster.ie or any ticketmaster outlet near you. (For Galway fans the show is still going ahead and has been moved to the day before: the 10th October ... check our dates for more details!) So ... to summarise. | WHADDUP?! Hope everyone's doing good! Just checking in to let you know what's going on with us. We just recorded our single 'You Used To Be Fun' which we'll be releasing on the 10th October and it'll be available to buy online hopefully from iTunes and Downloadmusic.ie along with physical copies being available from the launch show in Eamonn Doran's on the same date: 10th October. It's gonna be crazycrazycrazy! Doran's is fast becoming our favourite venue to play, and you guys have been so chilled coming out to check us out and going nuts, it's been awesome so let's keep it up and party hardy come the 10th! GET DOWN EARLY! It's 8 euro at the door. Support line-up will be announced very soon! Another thing is the 'Sleazy Tiger' tee completely sold out over tour and Blinkfest. Thanks so much for anyone who picked up a shirt, we were completely blown away by the response to the shirt and thanks again to anyone who helped support the band by grabbing one! We've reordered another batch so they'll be with us in a few days so DO NOT FEAR ... they'll be available from all upcoming shows and from our webstore HERE if you haven't had a chance to pick one up already :] We have some really chilled out shows coming up at the moment ... one of which being ALL ACCESS ACADEMY with a bunch of the best dudes and best local bands (Home Star Runner, The Shower Scene, Fox Avenue) and it's being headlined by Elliot Minor which will take place on the 6th December in The Academy, Dublin. It's an all day ALL AGES event and tickets are available from any Ticketmaster outlet or www.ticketmaster.ie We have more VERY EXCITING NEWS for us coming very soon!! | Hey d00ds and d00dettes, Apologies for the lack of updates but we've been super busy as of late. We just finished our first ever headline tour and it was absolutely amazing. For loads of you guys it was the first time seeing us and the first time for us to meet you guys too so all in all it was good times! The shows were crazy, especially Cork, Dublin and Galway you little sexy crazy peepz you. Basically another thing we're gonna try out, as we all live in a digital technological world, is streaming us recording in the studio LIVE for you guys to tune into and keep up to date with us and ask us questions or just stare into Des' puppy dog-esque eyes 24/7. We're not sure how it's gonna work but we're gonna give it a go.
