| Here's the latest from Diana... 'So, last Sunday l had my first photoshoot for the album - it was amazing! Lee Broomfield, the photographer is totally fantastic so l was really chuffed to be working with him (even after 12 hours of standing in heels!) Haha, it was so much fun though! All the clothes were amazing - l was like a kid in a dolls shop. It really kicked in, like OMG - this is my album! Now l just cant wait to see everything from the shoot. The next day l had a nice chilled day off, caught up on sleep and got round to doing bits and bobs! Oooh.. and this week l managed to get all of my Xmas decorations, and a christmas tree too - woo! l cant wait for the 2 days l get off on Christmas Eve and on the day. l’m going home to see the fam and eat a nice big roast! Oh, and speaking of eating...l bought myself an advent calendar this week, but ate the whole thing so had to buy another one!!! l think that because its winter, l just cant stop! Everytime l look at someone eating chocolate, l find myself smiling at them, thinking 'ahh they must really be enjoying that - its terrible!!! Haha Anyway, back to what l’ve been doing. l've had meetings with my PR company to get a plan together and then have been in the recording studio twice this week, working on a couple of new songs. Today l was with Starsmith doing some last touches! Tomorrow night l’m looking forward to letting my hair down and having a house parrrrtttyyy! I have loads of people coming and then on the Sunday l’m going to eat all the leftovers and of course watch the X Factor finals! Now l’m off to roast some chestnuts (which l had for the first time last week) so on that note, see you very soon! Have a great weeknd guys xxx | ||||

Have a read of our fave reviews below... Holliaaa - 'You get to see the most unbelievable talent of Diana. The way she managed to change to different singers voices so effortlessly, and each one be spot on, and absolutely amazing! Her acting skills so incredible as well, when she starts to finally speak up for herself, it takes your breath away. And when she attacks Ray Say with those voices, you don't know whether to laugh or cry, I can't get over how stunning she was! Then the final song. WOW. WOW. WOW! I actually couldn't breathe. She had everyone in the room fixated on her.' cee.x - 'Diana Vickers...she was incredible. Her acting was so subtle and fragile, and then the anger and the power, she played the part of LV so well - it was like she was her. Diana's singing was just UNBELIEVABLE. Soooo amazing. When she first started singing a Judy Garland number, I thought they had left the tape running and she was miming, I was just sitting there blinking away thinking it was some kind of joke, then I realised it was in fact Diana singing...I just burst into tears. As previous posters have said, her Edith Piaf is stunning and her Shirley Bassey is pretty damn good HannahDeex - 'I ran up with small alley way programme in hand. and stood at the very side of the stage door. The producer came out about 20 minutes later saying Diana will be out in 10 minutes, wearing the most stunning stella McCartney dress! Sure enough, out she came. and grabbed my programme first "Hey Guys sorry am in a real rush!!" she said. Before turning to me and saying "Hey sweetie thanks for coming, i saw you standing up at the end" i died...again. then she went to 2 other girls signed there programmes and having a photo taken with them. She was JUST about to leave and my dad shouted can we have a picture? She looked round and came rushing over and saying "Course"'...'GO AND SEE THE SHOW YOUR BOUND TO LOVE IT!!' | The Whatsonstage.com theatre award nominations have been announced and Diana Vickers is up for a gong! Diana has been nominated in the best newcomer catergory for her fabulous role in The Rise and Fall of Little Voice, up against the likes of Lenny Henry (Othello) and Nicholas Hoult (New Boy). | The Gold Diana Awards took place in London town this week and our very own Diana Vickers was on hand to present an award. The Awards were set up in memory of Diana, Princess of Wales, and each year ten young people have received awards for their work to improve the lives of others. This year's special 10 year anniversary award ceremony took place in Downing Street, and Ms. Vickers handed out an award to one of ten former winners honoured on this special occasion. Esther Rantzen, Patron of the Diana Awards said: "Selecting ten awards holders for this special anniversary award was a tough job - everyone who receives the award is an outstanding young person. These ten are fantastic examples and role models. Since receiving their award, they have just kept on giving." | ||||

| We caught up with Diana last week to find out what she has been up to recently. "l have been in the studio recording some little tweaks to some of my songs and I even had to go and get a trumpet for one of the parts in the new song I am recording. It’s SO exciting! Saturday was my sister’s birthday, so a crowd of us went out for dinner and drinks, it was really fun! Sunday l had a friend down in London, so we spent the day chilling out, watching back-to-back Desperate Housewives! First time in ages had the time to zone out! Then it was time to get ready for Monday and the turning on of the Molten Street lights. l was really spoilt and treated to lots of fun pressies at the Claridges hotel. When l got there l had a massage as well - Heaven! For the actual switch on, l wore a Sonya Rykiel dress. There was a great crowd and the Produces from Little Voice came down too. The lights were beautiful, and everyone was drinking champagne, but l couldn’t because had to go back for the show, so that was a bit annoying - but the whole experience was really fun so it didn’t really matter! J Soooo then l had a Chris Moyles interview and we played ‘guess who’. The panel had to figure out who was on the phone through a series of clues! It was very funny! Anyways, mum came up on Thursday which l was excited about as I’ve hardly seen her in recent months. She loves the show though – she’s seen it 3 times so far – she’s so proud! Not had a chance to do any Xmas shopping yet as its totally mental at the moment. This is only the beginning of everything that is going on, but its sooooo exciting. I can’t wait for the rest of it!" | ||||
