Wed 23rd Sept @ The Dogs Bollix Doors: 8:30pm Free Entry **************************** MSG FROM RALPHE: I have been locked away for months writing and working some original songs, and will be performing them for the first time ever live @ Dogs Bollix, I'll be opening the night and some other bands will be playing too. :-) **************************** MY SET: Just me, an intimate microphone, and a piano, and well another unique gadget that could give the piano a new twist... Rumour ville has it that I am also now in the recording process with my originals band (we will have a new set of unrelated songs). These piano songs are of a different matter all together. But I hope you come and enjoy. Songs like: "Tell it to the Skies" and "Baby Love Hurts". I'll also throw in a few short covers to taste from the likes of Coldplay and Muse, and should also start the set with a song from one of my favourite zombie movies :-) Influences: Radiohead / Coldplay / Jeff Buckley / One Republic. **************************** COME ALONG ITS LIKE A NIGHT OUT AT THE MOVIES (in regards to length time) BUT INSTEAD BE LISTENING TO SOME MUSIC IN THE RELAXED SETTING THAT IS THE IRISH LIVE PUB: DOGS BOLLIX. | You may (or may not) have noticed all videos and info on RALPHE and CHRIS GRANT's now 10 month old singer / songwriter project have been taken down such as videos of live performances, and song performances on Youtube & Bebo. It's not because we've taken a step back, but in fact have taken some steps forward. But no information can be released for at least another 2 months. Thanks for the support so far. | Dear Invites to Sevenfixangel gig (Freedom Festival 28th Feb) 28th February was going to be the debut for Sevenfixangel's new "remixed to the maxx lineup". Sounding very Muse-like, epic ballads but stuff you could potentially boogie and rock to. We are at least to say, pretty amped to showcase the new material. Due to circumstances beyond Sevenfixangel's control, the promoter has rescheduled the gig to 7th March 2009, which the band cannot attend as a whole, as our guitarist is doing a Jazz Festival in Wellington and our Bassist is shooting a music video for "The Exiles"... rockstars! We have decided to not continue with this particular promoter for future gigs.
