	The Bamboo Sessions are back with 6 amazing songwriters on 9th August 2008 at the Mill Theatre. To celebrate, we have teamed up with <a href="http://www.myspace.com/redlabstudios">RedLab Studios</a> to offer an amazing prize package for one lucky songwriter. One solo artist will win 3 days in RedLab Studios as well as free string arrangements and session musicians to play on their songs. The total prize package is worth €1500. All they have to do is enter their email address and answer a ridiculously simple question! The closing date for entries is 7th August 2008 and the prize draw will take place on 9th August 2008 on stage at the Bamboo Sessions. Remember, this competition works like a raffle, so the more friends that give their email addresses, the more chance you have of winning. Also, bands are not allowed enter, so the prize must go to a solo songwriter!

	The line up of songwriters has been confirmed for the gig on the 9th August. Vyvienne Long Íse Robin James Hurt Celine Carroll Jody Trehy Aidan Murphy Full details are here: http://www.bamboosessions.com/shows/... We've pretty much finalised the songs that are going to be played. I'm working away on the arrangements. I just saw Íse playing on Thursday (sat on bean bags. whole thing ended in a group hug - brilliant). It was an amazing solo gig. I'm really looking forward to hearing her stuff with quartet. 	Shiny New Website	540 dni temu
	I've been working this week on a new Bamboo Sessions website. It's all new and shiny and you can see it here www.bamboosessions.com There's a new section on artist profiles which I'm slowly filling in. It gives details of everyone who's played at the sessions. The search engine doesn't work yet, it takes a bit of time for Google to kick in. And the mailing list doesn't work yet. That's my job for today. Also just finalised the dates and line up for the next show. I'm putting together all the details and promo stuff for release next week. Take care of yourself, Aidan.
