KOFFEE POT GIG - Jeremy Warmsley433 giorni fa

By gum

Well we ventured to manchester to play for the nice people at SAME TEENS at the KOFFEE POT in Manchester
Twas most interesting indeed, as was the music, the green cakes and the weather.
Everyone seemed to bum my mums baking which she is now loving the glory for feeding marvellous musicians with chocoalte brownie cakes and scones - way to go Mum! (they are actually the best scones in the world)
But considering Mr Warmsley had to borrow my guitar was a highlight enough ;]
Extremely cool set as there was no use in the PA as everything was acoustic and everyone seemed to really enjoy themselves
Rather gutted that we didn't see his later set, but considering I played AFTER his made it a great experience, to follow a man with the skill to write songs about doctor waiting rooms!
Thanks to Nick and everyone at the Koffee Pot and Same Teens for asking me to play
Loved every bit of it
Even the Peppermint tea

The Square Orange in keswick is a lovely little café, it's very orange inside, and the tables are rather square but it was a lovely little gig.
Rob Heron was wonderful as ever on his ol' guitar and mine .. in the end.
A successfull evening over all..

(I got bit by a fly on my arm though)
