| Shanic stood still in panic, the fear of her mission suddenly realized, with none of her companions around her she knew she must fight this last battle alone, and for the first time since she began her journey, she felt hopeless. After making it this far things looked bleak, as Master stood before her wielding the fully-powered Deathblade she knew she had little time before she was sure it was a matter of time until she became another soul trapped within the blade causing havoc in this world, and without its counterpart the Lifesword. With one mighty lunge Shanic threw herself at the fiend before her, but her blade shattered with one swipe by Master, he himself laughed at the pitiful sword she had wielded for as long as she remembered, a treasure her father had possessed before her. With her last moments she thought of the disappointment she was causing to her team-mates, to Team Sonic in the east, Team Shadow in the west, Team Delta to the north and to Team Silver in the south. It wouldn?t be long until they knew she had failed them. Master began striding towards her with the look of victory settling across his face, confident he had already won, Shanic bowed her head in defeat and waited for her demise to come quick and painless, and waited? slowly she looked up, and her heart rose knowing the tide has turned. A purple blur was moving at high speed across Masters chest, dodging arrays of attacks as best as possible ,distracting the fiend for as long as possible, hitting a weak-spot by chance, temporarily stunning him, and with a reaction slash the savior was sent plummeting to the floor, landing very close to Shanic, she ran as fast as she could to the fallen soldier, only caring for his safety. It was Delta himself. Kneeling beside Delta, Shanic started to help him back up. ?Are you okay? Can you fight? Where are Sonic, Shadow and Silver?? she questioned ?I?ll be fine, but I can?t make another attempt on Master, it?s up to you to finish this once and for all. I lost contact with the others as I cleared the Aquatic Ridge Zone? he returned quietly. ?He broke my sword, I can?t do it alone.? ?Nonsense, you made it this far alone, you cleared the path for me to make it this far? he began to rise to his feet, he drew an unfamiliar weapon and handed it to her ?with this weapon you?ll be able to do some damage to him, but you wont be able to finish him without the power of?? the ground shook as Master regained movement, raising his arms to the sky, summoning the 7 elite dark soldiers. Delta drew his own blade and handed her 5 Chaos Emeralds. ?Take Master down Shanic. GO!? he called as he started to run towards the dark soldiers closing them down from behind. As he left Shanic saw a faint glow from within the blade. She drew her Chaos Emerald and attached it into the middle of this new blade, the glow became Red, she then knew what to do, and she proceeded immediately onto inserting the other 5. The sword glowed each of the 6 colours of the emeralds, with a Black void where the last should be. She sighed, and hoped this was enough to deal significant damage | ||||

SHADOW Shadow is the dark incarnation of Sonic, created by the renowned scientist, Professor Gerald at the height of his career. This black hedgehog matches Sonic's great speed and skills and has the ability to distort time and space using "Chaos Control." Shadow was presumed dead after his fall at Colony Arc in Sonic Adventure 2 Battle, but Rouge discovered him hidden away at Dr. Eggman's base. He has no memory of what happened to him but he's anxious to track down Dr. Eggman and find out. | ||||
