At least once a month 4YP partners with a community group to host a dance party. 4YP provides the sound, lights and DJ for your event. Our crew will train your crew to plan and run your own dance party.

Organisations that have hosted community dances in 2009 included Canterbury Blue Light, The Upp Club, Sodium, YCD, Oxford Community Trust, Christchurch City Council, Waimakariri District Council, Papanui Youth Development Trust, Not Quite Angels, Rangiora Youth Community Trust, Canterbury Youth Services, Floyds, He Waka Tapu, Banks Peninsula Safer Community Council, Zebedees, SADD (Students Against Drunk Driving)...

Oh What A Night! - All Night Party 2009 5 days ago
 
All Night Party 2009 sold out in less than 30 minutes! Despite pleading ext messages, e-mails and phone calls... tickets were limited to 500.

Friday 3 July was the big night! 8 PM through until 8 AM (the next morning). The now iconic event began with a dance party hosted by the good crew at Sodium before everyone bussing to QEII for swimming and hydro-sliding. Around midnight the still energetic mob broke into groups for kart racing, video games, 10 Pin Bowling and chill out at Te Koru.

Everyone met up again for movies at 6 AM. At 8 AM, :Z looking a little tired, it was time to say good morning and good night.

All Night Party will be back in 2011.

Next year the Interschool Lip Sync Competition and Mega Dance Party will be happening on Friday 2 July.
