Hullo Beboheads,

Well- I don't know how many of you will read this but I just wanted to write a general message of thanks for all the nice things and aroha you fullas have sent to me through cyberspace over the last few months.

Now- to be honest with you, I'm not much of a bebo-freak myself so please don't be offended if you don't hear back from me or I don't add you (a couple of people have asked me to do this). It's only because a) I'm a full technotard and don't know how and b) I hardly ever check this thing. If you ever rock out on the myspace or the facebook you are more likely to hear from me there in my techno-comfort-zones.

As for the person who said "I hope this is really you"- please rest assured that I am a long way off being flash enough to have this shit checked by somebody else. Ae. It's me.

So- thank you for your support and kind words. Please vote for "Hold You Here" in the Juice TV awards at http://www.juicetv.com/musicawards.a... and come say hey if I come play in your town ever.

Na

Anna C

Limited tickets to Auckland show on sale now!!!550 days ago

Hi everyone!!!!

Real Groovy Auckland have limited tickets available now for my album release show at The Classic, Queen St. It's on THUR JUNE 5TH and it's only $15 which isn't too bad since I'll be playing with my band and they're amazing and Johnny Barker will be playing beforehand too. AND if you get there early enough you'll get a free glass of wine.

So get in there quick and you won't miss out. And if you go to Real Groovy after June 2 to buy a ticket buy my album at the same time. Or buy it at the gig. Or buy it twice- once at the shop and once at the gig and give someone a copy for their birthday or christmas or... something else.

Other things....
I saw my factual album for the first time today all pressed and folded and put together and holy moly it looks awesome. If I may toot my own horn (beep beep bitch).

For those of you who are not in Auckland come to one of the other shows because I want to meet you and sing to you and hang out with you (maybe).

"The Lake" Album release tour- Official Press Release553 days ago

THE LAKE TOUR

Stunning songstress Anna Coddington is embarking on a nationwide 15 date tour to celebrate the release of her debut solo album The Lake.

Anna Coddington is no stranger to the New Zealand music scene. She has featured on albums by Bic Runga and Anika Moa and was the front woman for Handsome Geoffrey and Duchess.

Anna’s beautifully crafted boutique pop songs with a sprinkling of attitude, charm and humour shine through on The Lake. Her first single “Hold You Here” has gained much airplay on radio and music television.

Armed with a phenomenal band Anna is ready to show us what we’ve all been waiting for. Sharing the stage with Anna will be some of New Zealand’s star musicians - guitarist Ned Ngatae (Hollie Smith, Dimmer), drummer Riki Gooch (Trinity Roots, Eru Dangerspiel) and bassist Chip Matthews (Opensouls, Anika Moa).

And touring is something Anna thrives on. “I can't wait to get around the country and meet new people and see friends made on previous tours. It's cool to do a tour like this and see people coming out of their homes and their shells to see some live music" she says.

The Lake will be released nationwide on 3 June 2008.
