Frederic Valencia (actor) :)

Hi my name is Frederic. When I was 5 my Mum brought me to see Superman the movie. After the movie I wanted to be like him, years later I realised that I wanted to be an actor. I started with very small roles in the school. I wasn't a great student so the teachers used to give me the smallest roles. I used to act in a play in a parish beside my house. There was a Priest who was a brilliant director.
As an adult I studied for 3 years in two schools in Barcelona. During that time I performed in 4 plays and I even shot 1 ad.
Then I moved to Madrid, movie capital of Spain. The theatre activity there was more intense, studing in 2 schools. The second shool was an english school called Shakespeare foundation with Manuel Conejero as a tutor. There, I really learnt how to feel the plays, how to enjoy being on the stage, how to cry after the rehearsals. He is a very fair man.
And finally I decided to move my acting career forward by going to Ireland. I started to play after one year of living here because of my english. It cost me a little bit to improve it but after 3 years in Galway I discovered wonderful people and theatre companies. Now in Stags and Hens we will see where my path is going.......

Mike Kinsella (Actor) :)

On moving to Britain Mike played Macduff for the Nottingham Playhouse's 1999 production of 'Macbeth', and Zackerman in Caryl Churchill's 'Serious Money'. He worked in the area of mask theatre playing The Dovre-Master and Strange Passenger in a full production of Ibsen's Peer Gynt directed by Vasile Nedelcu with Birmingham's Glasshouse Theatre, and in the specially commissioned mask production 'The Last Dinner'. In 2005 Mike acted in a new stage work, 'Deep in the Frozen Night' raising money on behalf of the Pakistan earthquake appeal. He has also worked in film playing award winning roles for S-I-A Films adaptation of Ray Bradbury's 'The Waiting Game', Nicolo Machiavelli in the historical drama 'Mona Lisa' and the 2007 feature film 'Nottingham Babylon'.

On his return to his hometown of Galway, Mike has played the infamous, libertine Ray in Conor McPherson's 'This Lime Tree Bower' and The Bird O'Donnell in Keane's 'The Field' for Heart N Crown. He is happy to renew his relationship with the company for Jimmy Murphy's strong and tragic drama, 'The Kings of the Kilburn High Road'
