| This year .... The Forth Road Bridge Fun Trek Is Back, & it is back to help the Sick Kids move home! Sick Kids Royal Edinburgh Hospital current location is a very loved but very old Victorian building, which is struggling to accommodate everything a special hospital needs. Which is why in 2012, Sick Kids are moving to a location next to ERI Hospital. Now we all know moving home costs a lot of pennies! Which is why I am fundraising to help provide vital equipment and some things to make a ''big bad'' hospital seem a lot more homely and safe to young children and here is how I am doing to do it: Event Name: Forth Road Bridge Fun 'Move' Date: June 2009 Time: 13:00 hrs Start Location: South Queensferry Mid Location: North Queensferry End Location: South Queensferry Attendees: 1 Target: £1000 ! ! | Just a quick note to apologise for the recent lack of communication ( missing my granddad ) The walk is still on! Saturday 14th June, 1pm for a 1:30pm start. ( Note I think this is on the same day as one of the fife gala days ) Here are the rough details of what to do/is happening: Before the day (to be done ASAP): eMail aimi.burrows@selexgalileo.com with names, ages, contact details and next of kin details of all walkers. Also eMail regarding any items you wish you take on the walk. On arrival: Go to the south side of the bridge for the start. Any sponsor money and sheets must be given to Aimi Burrows (myself.. in the red PJs) ( note.. sponsor 'sheets' can be plain paper with names and details of donators.. these do not have to be the offical sponsor sheets ) All walkers must ‘check in’ with Aimi Burrows, Elizabeth Fisher OR Debby Fisher During: All rules and regulations must be followed at all times (these can be found on this bebo blog page ) failure to follow these may result in disciplinary action. Music (iPods/speakers) food, fancy dress, buggies etc are welcome but to be 100% sure please again eMail aimi.burrows@selexgalileo.com stating which items you wish to take ( you may want to just state these items when you eMail your details etc ) After: After you have walked 1 or 2 lengths (personal choice) I and FETA bridge ask that you leave the bridge area & return to your transport or find a suitable area to wait on others. We advice that you can wait in the south side car park ( sign posted ) or safely at the bus/lorry stop on banking at North side. Please remember your own safety while waiting.
