The road to the monologues has not been a smooth one and it is not over yet!!! Caroline, Karen, Sarah and Laura are all friends enrolled on the same university course. A course which specialises in management of 'the arts'. They decided to work together to create a ledgendary piece of theatre and a fantstic night out!
The vagina monologues holds a special place in all of thier lives. It was the first and only play that Laura and her mother performed together. It was the first and only book that Caroline has read cover to cover without putting down! With Karen it is the first and only play she has produced in Edinburgh and for Sarah, it is the first and only bit if work that she has done!!! EVER!!! Only joking, we love you, Sarah!!!
The fight to stop violence against women has been our motivaition throughout this whole process and when we have had set backs and thought about quitting, it has been a determiniation that kept us going. The very people who are supposed to support you, i.e a husband or parnter, should not be the person who puts you down and makes you feel worthless.

This is the fight, become a vagina warrior and fight with us!!!! :)
