We've been thinking.

And when we think, it can be dangerous.

But, we think we've came up with a good idea.

We want to send His Holiness Pope Benedict XVI one of our t-shirts. We want it to be a present, and, a wee sign that's he's doing a tough job very well indeed.

So, we need your help - if you think we should / shouldn't send one of our t-shirts to the Vatican, then answer the poll and leave a comment. We're interested to learn what t-shirt you think we should give him.

We're being deadly serious here.

We'll send the t-shirt on Easter Monday.

(And if any of you Priests, Seminarians or Religious know his PO Box Address at the Vatican or the direct line number for the Cardinal Prefect of the Holy Mailroom, then, please let us know!)

Anyway.....the latest gossip is that we're investing. As to what it is we're investing in, we don't know, but, afer tossing a coin, we decided not to buy shares in Nav's Belgian Maggot Farm, and invest inwardly instead.

What this means is that we'll be having even more creativity in our designs and it'll go a long way in getting the ideas you send us turned into fashion reality. Let's just say, the team here at CWA HQ are really excited by this and we're sure you'll be yet even more impressed over the next few weeks.

And so to the Christmassy Pope T-shirts. We'll, they're gone. Like the last bus home. Like Russell Brand's chance of ordination to the Diaconate. Gone. As past tense as "wented". Thanks for all the interest.

Plenty of people have been asking us whether we're planning to bring all the hoodies and bags from Cool Clobber for Catholics into the CWA site. The answer is "hmmm...." If enough of you want it, then, we'll do it. Our own thoughts are that it'll make the CWA store too big and cumbersome, but, we're open to ideas, suggestions, and bribes. (Lego or Jack Daniels should do the trick!)

On the subject of tricks (did you see what we did there?) somebody recently magic'ed a great big rumour out of what must have been a huge top hat. Some people have "heard" that we are jacking it all in and closing the stores. Apparently smebody knows one of us and we said it, so it must be true.

Well, it's not.

Even better than that, there's also a rumor doing the rounds that we're shutting up shop as we can't compete with Cool Clobber for Catholics.

Well, we're not.

Coz we own that too.

Now, why don't you help us to help someone else?

In a spirit of helpfulness, or, to give the malingering workshy element amoungst us something to read when they should be doing something more fruitful (aye...you), we thought we'd stick some recent questions asked of the team here.

(Q) How ye doing?
(A) No bad, ta.

(Q) Are you all Cafliks? Are you all virgins?
(A) Yes. Not yet.

(Q) I keep sending you messages and you don't reply. What's up?
(A) We can only apologise. We have been as busy as the man who delivers the Pope his Fanta. (Did you know B16's mad into Fanta?) Sorry. We shall remember our manners in future. Thank you for your comments. We read them all. Even that one that we didn't invent just above.

(Q) I keep sending you for the messages and you don't go. What's up?
(A) Mum, we're all grown up now. Please don't contact us at work.

(Q) I stay in Stoneybridge, a small Scottish village and I really like a t-shirt I saw on the USA site www.catholicswithattitude.com . Why can't I buy it?
(A) You can. It'll be sent from our manufacturer in the US, so it might be a bit costly.

(Q) I keep adding trying to add you as a "Friend" and you don't seem to be wanting to add me. Why?
(A) If it's a mistake, then we apologise and invite you to try again. It, however, maybe due to the fact that you are a C.H.O.O.B. (Can't Handle Our Obvious Beliefs). In other words, there's something on your profile that just doesn't sit right with our taste or notion of decency. Moreover, the church probably doesn't approve of what's there either. Get well soon.

(A) That's the place to get the t-shirts that have previously been on sale at CWA. It's also the place to buy bags, jackets and hoodies. There might be a few surprises there as well!

(Q) Are you guys behing the site called the Good Shirt shop?
(A) How very observant! Yup, that's us. We've widened our selling power (Oooh "Selling Power"...look out Dragons' Den) to embrace people of Faith from other Christian Communities. We've been getting asked to do this for a while, so, who are we to ignore public demand?

(Q) There's a group selling a t-shirt i can see on your site. Did you make it?
(A) Nope. We buy stock that other people design (from time-to-time), but, if it ain't on our site, then it sure ain't ours. We did get asked a while back by a group to customise one of our designs for them. The blighters then just went away and mass produced using our artwork without permission. We'll not say who they were, but, suffice to say we were 15 minutes away from giving our lawyer the nod to obtain an interdict before we felt sorry for them and their cause - which would have surely suffered if we had done what we were well within our rights to do
