	Tollcross Thistle Football Under 21’s – Trials Available The team will consist of experienced players who are playing under 21’s at the moment and players coming up from under 19’s. The management team in place are experienced in playing and qualified in coaching with the SFA. At Tollcross we already have the Amateur team in place so when you are too old to play Under 21 football you will have somewhere to go. 	Tollcross 4-1 East Linton	623 Tage her
	First half started well for Tollcross, with early pressure, The first goal came when Ross Henderson whiped in a freekick to find Steven Moncur who headed across goal to find the bottom right corner 1-0, Tollcross felt like there were going to walk this game when Gary Fox got himself into the box and with a nice little touch he went past the defender only to be brought down , Steven Moncur stepped up and a good penalty was saved well down to the keepers right. East Linton got themself back into the game when a mix up in defence lead to a bit of a scramble at the back post and the ball crept over the line to make it 1-1, The game started to get scrappy and i think both sides were happy to see the half time whiste needless to say the half ended with Tollcross the better of the two sides. Second half started well for Tollcross and they looked much more up for it than East Linton, with a decent ball over the top from Stephen (Quagmire Quan) Callaghan, Steven Moncur raced through on goal and was brought down inside the box for the second penalty. Ross Henderson stepped up and calmly slotted the ball bottom right sending the keeper the wrong way 2-1, East Linton looked as if they had gave up when Steven Moncur picked up the ball inside East Lintons half and turned inside to fire home a stunning strike from 25 yards into the top left corner 3-1. The game had slowed down and Tollcross were passing and moving very well, with some good work on the left from Robbie (Robert) Menzies. The East Linton keeper miss hit his by kick and the ball fell to Jonny Turley who ran through and poked the ball with his left foot into the bottom right 4-1. Chance after chance for Tollcross were going a begging but still they looked solid in defence and were under no pressure, good battling in the center from John Nisbet lead to him playing a cheeky wee one two with the ref and blasted his shot off the post from 25 yards, Tollcross were dominating and nice movement and passing lead to a corner on the left, Robbie Menzies whipped in a great ball which was met by Alan Budge who was unlucky to see his header rise over the bar. Tollcross were denied a 5th goal when Gary Fox raced through on goal, his first shot was saved well by the keeper but his follow up effort found the back off the net, only for the referee who it has to be said didnt have a good game blew for offside The final Whistle blew and Tollcross progress into the semi finals with a good 4-1 win

	Tollcross 2-0 Redpath	650 Tage her
	Tollcross started brightly with a couple of efforts from Gary Fox well saved by the Redpath goal keeper, the tackles were flying in and a few bookings for the Redpath players set the theme for the game. some neat passing in the middle sent Steven Moncur through on the right wing, he sent in a low cross only for Ross Henderson to miss hit his shot into the goal keepers arms. the first half was scrappy with Tollcross getting the better but the score remained 0-0 Second half started better from tollcross with the lads well up for it, a neat move saw Steven Moncur through on the left and this time when he crossed low, Ross Henderson slotted home with his left foot to put Tollcross 1-0 up. Redpath pressured Tollcross with a cross come shot skim the bar but was cleared to saftey, the tackles continued to fly in and redpath were starting to get very dirty, this led to a nasty injury to Alan Mckay. this seemed to make Tollcross more determined to get the result. with Repath getting 2 players sent off in a matter of 10 mins Tollcross pounced on the oppertunity and Kevin Robertson found himself free on the right to calmly slot the ball into the bottom left with a little help from a diflection. Redpath then got another player sent off for a late challenge on the Tollcross Keeper this made it easy for Tollcross in the last 10 mins and cruised to victory and a well earned result.

	Tollcross 2-1 Haddington	652 Tage her
	Playing into the wind in the first half Tollcross started poorly, with little chances going there way, it was obvious that Tollcross had not played for a while and that this was there first game back, the best of the first halfs chances came to Steven Moncur whos header from a deep cross went narrowly wide. Into the second half the game was very scrappy, with Steven Moncur hitting the post from a low shot,Tollcross were starting to get into there stride but were hit with a sucker punch, a mix up in defence lead to the Haddington striker latch onto a through ball which was struck across the keeper and into the bottom left corner. This however seemed to kick start Tollcross into action, with another Steven Moncur header goin just wide from another deep cross, a free kick from Ross Henderson was spilled by the keeper and Steven Moncur crossed for Kevin Robertson to head home the equalizer. with the teams level it was obvious who the stronger team was and a neat cross by Robbie Menzies on the left found Gary Fox unmarked at the back post who rolled the ball into the bottom right corner to make it 2-1 Tollcross showed good determination in defence and ran out 2-1 winners
