| I have a new single coming out!! It's called 'Down To One Kiss' and it will be out on July 6th! It'll be the first single to be released from my upcoming album 'Vulnerable To Touch' which will be out in August. What an amazing time i've had.. Brighton is such a cool place.. i've been there a few times before but not gigging.. everyone is so kind and it seems that everyone is in a band.. or has been.. i would say it's 'muso central'. One thing though.. SEAGULLS..oh my god there so noisy. i had no sleep .. it was like a crazy women having a not so satisfying session screaming at the top of her lungs.. Seagulls are officially in my bad books.. hahah i spent the whole day pretty much on wednesday before the gig with my friend Toby sitting in desk chairs on the pebbly beach watching some football stag group fall over and well entertain our little minds.. loved every minute of it.. can't wait to go back...x | ||||

I can't believe I was on RADIO 2 playlist for 7 weeks.. it's totally unheard off.. but now that boat has sailed.. well for now.. normally they only keep new artists on for 2 weeks.. so i was very lucky!! But if you lovely people want to hear me again on radio 2 email in and tell them.. it's all about mass population making a difference. Haha http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio2/shows/wogan/ When i looked on radio 2 playlist and my name had gone, i had a very strange feeling.. it was so sad not to see myself there again..!! boo hooo me!!! ok enough of feeling sorry for myself.. there are lots of good things i want to share with you... Words can't describe the feeling of walking out on the Royal albert hall stage with 6000 people waiting silently for me to open my mouth.. Certainly a moment that i will keep forever. I'm one lucky girl to have had that opportunity, and to have helped raise awareness for the (TCT) Teenage Cancer Trust makes it extra special. Once i'd finished my songs I didn't want to leave.. when I sang 'Living Room' it was so amazing.. I felt so connected to the audience.. Thank you to all that were there.. you made me very happy!!!! Backstage was so conforting, no egos ,no tantrams.. just good musicians making good conversation.. I still can't believe i was lucky enough to be sharing the stage with Newton Faulkner ( who i went to school with) , Amy Mcdonald, Joan Armertrading, David Grey.. and THE WHO!!!! Then last night I was in Venice performing in a secret location to for 700 of the most important maketing CEO's in the world for the Venice Media Festival.. I was so nervous.. but exstatic that something great could come out of it .. Brand me up baby!!!! I wonder what my music and i could be markerted as... ???? Theres lot's of things i could tell you but im going to keep you in suspense.. and also I want to make sure before I tell you for definate.. but exciting times ahead!!!! Now i'm in a small down to earth hotel in Portsmouth absoutley shattered.. I feel like I have been on every moving thing possible.. boats in venice this morning.. planes buses cars.. this bedroom is pure heaven right now... i've got a session and interview on wave fm 105.2 portsmouth tomorrow at 11.30.. tune in if your in the area hope your all good Big Love Holly Rose xxxx | ||||

well I'm still sick but you'll be happy to know that I'm still ploughing along.. I was in the studio recording brass for Fine wine ( my roots reggae track) and Please mr man.. ( a classic Beatles feel track!!) there both sounding great!! Unfortunately had to cancel a few radio interview's as i couldn't barley talk let alone sing.. which I felt terrible about.. hate letting people down. Bloody doctor gave me penicillin, and I'm allergic to it... so got to go back to the doc.. oh dear!!!! Can't wait to have this album finished so you can all have it. I am so proud of the songs.. i hope you like them.xxxxx | ||||

| i’ve waited 3 years for this day to finally arrive.. i’ve been promised things that have never happened, my family have been so good and patient( well sometimes). | the end.. the last performance with ocean colour scene.. what a great band and such lovely people.. it's sad to think that i won;t be sharing the stage with them any time soon again.. but you never know what is behind the corner... next BIG THING is ROYAL ALBERT HALL....Sunday 13th April...part of the week long series of concerts for the Teenage Cancer Trust. I am opening the Sessions Night... other people performing on the night..Joan Armatrading, David Gray, Amy Macdonald and Newton Faulkner ... i still can't believe it.. opening for such great acts.. im so blessed!!! These shows are so important in raising the awareness of the amazing work that Teenage Cancer Trust does. | So it's been a crazy few weeks getting radio 2 playlist then going on tour with Ocean Colour Scene.. i'm getting in to the rock and roll life style.. ( in other words lots of coffee and take away salads in the day and well.... i like my whiskey at night.. hahaha) . The Ocean Colour Scene, boys are amazing, they put on such a good show.. the first night we couldn't stay till the end because we had a 5am flight so we snook out and missed most of the performance so i was adament that i was going to stay and enjoy the show and enjoy a few drinks.. so i did .. i think i got home at.. ummm.. lets just say the morning.. !! was great fun. Simon is so poetic with his lyrics.. he's a very deep man.. and Steve is just wonderful.. such a good player and both of them together clearly equals great music!! My single is being released in a weeks time. I'm so so excited.. can't believe it's actually happening!! stress is rising.. but butterflies still occur.. my stomach is like a Japanese garden.. it's wonderful.. !! I was lucky enough to have my lovely mother with me in Edinburgh and Manchester.. which was a delight.. she's my bestest friend so we had quite a giggle.. she turns into manger sometimes though.. which is a little strange .. but hey that's a mother always wants whats best for her little ones.. haha BIG NEWS!!! April 15th i'm off to Venice for a night.. yes sounds crazy... i'm going to write a song about it the title is screaming for it!!!! " one night in Venice , the moon shone so bright , my heart was the water with it's purity so black but so bright" well we will see!! hahah i'm performing in a private location that can only be reached by boat.. 97% of the worlds marketing force will be there.. OHH MY GOD!!!! could i be stepping into the dragons den.. you never know i could be the face of something big.. i'm obviously aiming at Austin Martin R8.. Classy !!! i want one too.. hahah i'm missing my car today .. i have a little run around but i used to have a MGBGT 1976 my little rosie.. beautiful.. sold her last year was just too much hard work.. anyone into classic cars.. word of advice.. if you haven't got the time to look after it.. don't do it.. classic cars are like children they need to be looked after all the time.. there's no leaving it in the garage to go rusty for 4 years.. !!! i can't believe it.. RADIO 2 PLAYLIST.. im so happy.. as soon as i found out my manager called me and said champagne's in the freezer.. get over here.. and ofcourse i brought my entourage.. mother ,father ,brother. bestest friends.. you know how it is.. we drank and drank.. then we needed to soak it up.. so the party moved to a famous ( in our area) indian around the corner.. which was yummy.. i still can't believe it.. but still many more mountains i have to climb though.. so keep your fingers crossed for me.. big love.x | ||||
