I read recently that Owen Wilson is in talks to remake Alias Smith and Jones. He's looking to have Jeremy London in the role as Kid Curry!

For some of you guys it has been ages and for you bootleggers out there it's been probably 24 hours! But at least now you can see full episodes of the coolest western ever without having to buy the dvd's! NO I'm not hosting them here. I'm not that savvy.

Okay so I wasn't around for the days of Gunsmoke and Bonanza but there are reruns! Then there are the movies of Francis Ford and Howard Hawkes. Don't forget the hey days of Clint Eastwood and all of the Billy the Kid movies, Wyatt Earp Films and Support Your Local Sheriff (sorry I had to mention it! They still make me laugh!)

Then there was Young Guns, Young Guns II, that tv show from the 80's about the Pony Express -- Young Riders or something like that... The Unforgiven, Silverado, The Quick and The Dead, Tombstone and more.

Post a brick on the wall and dedicate to your favorite cowboy or western and don't forget to spread the love!

Did you know their are full length episodes of ASJ available on Aol video, Hulu (an NBC site) and Veoh? As well as the DVD with the complete first season is available too! Anyways just keeping the memory of Pete Duel alive and spreading the love for Ben Murphy.

I'm not sure if the good ole days were ever good. However the mythos of the cowboy always leaves a smile on my face. Having lived in the American West, the spirit of the cowboy and the western attitude of freedom and individualism and a love for the great outdoors is still alive and well.

Cowboys are a breed unto themselves and here I salute them!
