| hey ya'll!!!!!! how exciting is dteams this year? as sad as it was to see tracey leave us to continue spreading her love (yes they need it even whakatane), we have two new AMAZING people who are hopefully gonna bring a whole lot to our youth group. Martin Druskovich will be taking over as youth pastor and Rebecca Connel will be assisting him. I'm intensely excited about what this new year can bring to us as a youth group and to us all as individuals  SO guys make sure you are there (and not square) on tuesday 3rd February to kick off our year at dteams. its SUMMER which means we can rock it out in the carpark and the feild before hand. come to enjoy yourself, get tight with your small group and further your spir-it-u-al-ity (yuh!) and of course hang out with me  MOST IMPORTANT we are having pizza so bring $5. !!!! Pizzaaa!!! also! a reminder that our night service is also getting started again. this is where you can delve into the stuff you hear about at dteams more. Like, who is Jesus anyways? and what does it mean to follow him? the best thing i find is i can talk to all the older, wiser folk (young adults) who can often help me out when it comes to questions, and spend some time chilling out and worshiping God (so cool) so see ya there? well im out now. anything else you wanna say? leave comments. | Friday the 7th of November we are having our annual Charity Ball in the church auditorium. This year all the profit will go to Canteen so invite heaps of friends! The night will be awesomely amazing because we have PROFESSIONAL covers band, TRACTION coming to play up a storm! Just $15 a ticket... 7pm-10.30pm Masquerade Theme so feel free to dress up and wear a mask.. | OH MY GOSH oh my gosh you guys! THIS friday WE have...(drum roll) an action versus romantic comedy movie night! yes, that's right (and there's more)... TWO Movies will be screened, at the SAME time, and you (yes YOU) will have to make the difficult decision of which to give your eyeballed attention to (that is, which one will you watch?). Personally i think the decision is just a little too demanding for me, i think i'll spend friday night running between the two movies, i mean who could resist a little light comedy with the passion of romance? But who could deny the blood-pumping, adrenalin-racing addiction of action? its all a bit too much. SO see you fellahs there? 7.30ish... (leaders please correct me if i'm wrong) in THE YOUTH ROOM. its gonna be a goody, i tell ya! check ya later. | ||||

| Alright guys, this week you'll wanna be a Dteams, tuesday night, 7-9pm at #9 Ben Lomond Cresent (heck yes that's next to Eastgate) this week we have two awesome bands (avaline and the underlining theory) to top off our music-jamming E4 term! now this is a FANTAMAZING opportunity to invite your friends, and not to mention probably one of the best ways you can end your school term. PLUS (and double PLUS) there is a cooool guitar up for grabs AND you'll be getting your good music hit to carry you through till the end of term 3 (what a cool way to chill out for those who have had mock exams these past few weeks). So, what have you learnt from this blog? | 2 nights away, 2 days on the snow, where else would you want to be?? Snow Camp 2008 is upon us! This year it will be better than ever, as we are combining e180 and 18+. Again we will be hitting the slopes twice (weather dependent), having a soak in the hot pools, and sleeping even closer to the mountain! We will be staying at Turangi Evangelical Church. If you’re keen to join us, then fill out a registration form and return it to Ben or Tracey ASAP with the full payment or a $50 deposit. | ||||
