	Pre-Release Shows Announced	77 Tage her
	With the band still recording and making the final touches to the new releases which will be out from November they have decided to do a string of dates across the country to showcase their new material for the first time! These shows will feature new tracks including ‘Fire Soul’, ‘One by One’, ‘The Making’, ‘Race’ and ‘Ghosts’! As part of the bands release warm up shows they will be playing Rocktoberfest in the INEC Kilarney with acts such as Director, Dirty Epics, The Frank and Walters and many more! Supporting the band on selected dates will be highly tipped Cardiff band ‘ The Inner City Pirates’, Dublin bands ‘The DC Experiment’ and ‘Alphastates’ as well as Derry band ‘The Q’. The following dates to see the band before the release as they warm up for their return are. 9th October – The Cellar – Balbriggan 10th October – The INEC - Kilarney (Rocktoberfest!) 14th October – Auntie Annies – Belfast 16th October – Electric Avenue – Waterford More dates to be announced for the release in November

	Hey everyone ...hope your all enjoying the summer! Camp Poets has been set up with rehearsals and studio time as the band pens tracks for release from September 2009 onwards building up to the Album in March 2010. Working with Neal Calderwood the band can exclusive reveal the next single called ‘The Making’ will show a different side to the group’s song-writing. GIG CHANGE The band has rescheduled their July 23rd appearance for The Small Town America Label Showcases to August 26th 2009 in Masons Derry. 	HUMANZI AND THE BEAT POETS – WEDNESDAY 10TH JUNE On Wednesday night The Beat Poets will play in Auntie Annies with Meteor award winning band Humanzi as the tour their 2nd Album. Doors open at 9pm and admission is £7.00. Be there early as this will be a cracking gig! THE POETS THIS SUMMER – STUDIO & GLASGOWBURY 2009! The band is currently spending most of this summer locked away writing and recording the new material that will grace the bands new singles in the Autumn and Winter in the build up to their debut album early next year. The band is with local producing legend Neal Calderwood in Manor Park studios recording the new Material. Neal produced tracks of the Answer, FWW and General Fiasco’s first albums to name a few high flying N.Irish bands. However the band will be taking time out to perform at the fantastic GLASGOWBURY 2009 festival which will see all the best talent in the area rock out again at the sperrin mountains with this year promising to be bigger and better than ever! On June 6th John, Keith and Paul from the Poets visited a rainy rooftop in Dublin’s Temple Bar to perform their debut acoustic appearance on the highly successful and rising internet phemonena of Balcony Tv. The first will be out in August and expect some video clips of the new material as the band build up to the releases. 	After 7 US shows, 6 at SXSW and 1 in NYC The Beat Poets have returned to Ireland. The trip was a major sucess for the band and we’d like to take the opportunity to thank everyone who helped the band in the US as well as everyone who turned up to see the band perform! The band’s visit made the press from The Village Voice in New York to the Austin Chronicle in Texas! Over the course of the next two weeks we’ll be putting up photos, reviews, interviews and you tube footage of the band in the US so please keep checking back here for details! 	The Beat Poets News Update MONDAY 16TH FEB – POETS CO-HOST BBC RADIO 1 N.I ATL SHOW This coming Monday the band will be in the BBC HQ in Belfast with Rigsy co-hosting the ATL show that evening.
