| Hi everyone. Hope you're all good. I can't believe how quickly the year has gone! It's only six weeks to xmas and only two weeks until our wolfcub only xmas parties. Thank you to everyone who bought tickets. We were really touched when the Christmas parties and the Scala shows sold out within hours. I promise you a good night! We've suddenly got busy in preparation for the album launch next year. We did our first photoshoot last week, a few radio interviews and we're filming the video for the new single this Friday. We've also tried to create something different in order to keep in touch with you guys regular. Its a cross between our own tv show and a video blog. As you can see from this trailer we're not taking it particularly seriously... but it's very funny! We launch next week! until then.... keep safe. | Hey Wolfcubs. Hope you're well. Here's some good news to brighten up your Monday! We're really excited to announce our first full show of 2010 at the London Scala on Tuesday 11th February. It's a one off show where we'll be playing songs from the new album plus all the songs you love from the first. It'll be our first proper show of the year in a venue we've never played before. We can't wait to play you the new songs and see you all again. Tickets go on sale 9am Friday but we have a limited number of tickets available (only to you wolfcubs) which go on sale 6pm Wednesday via our website or this link: http://scoutingforgirlstickets.sandb... with a reduced booking fee. Please act quick as tickets will sell fast. Scala is a 16 + event. _______________________________________ _ Free St Paul's Cathedral show on Tuesday Also, if you're in London tomorrow night (Tuesday) come along and see us play a couple of numbers outside St Paul's Cathedral as part of the Disney light switch on. | Hello Wolfcubs! I hope you're ready for some SFG action! Yes I know we've been away for ages but we're back and we're more excited than ever. The album is done, and I'm so proud of it. I've never worked harder on anything in my life. I'm not ashamed to tell you that its flipping amazing  It's not out until next year, but we're gearing up for the release with a number of small events and shows... Tonight we are live BBC radio 2 doing an interview and acoustic session with the lovely Claudia Winkleman to celebrate the 75th anniversary of Maida Vale Studios. Tune in from 11pm or listen again on the iplayer. Next Tuesday we're taking part in a free gig outside St Pauls Cathedral as part of the Disney Xmas lights Extravaganza... INSERT LINK HEREhttp://www.reuters.com/article/press... Come along and celebrate the start of Xmas with us and Little Boots and the mighty Spandau Ballet!!! (The Ballet is one of Pete's favourite bands... and I once sold the bass player and ex eastenders star Martin Kemp a mobile phone when I worked at Carphone Warehouse!) We're only doing a couple of tracks, but it should be a giggle. Then on the 24th November we're playing the little noise sessions with Newton Faulkner at the Union Chapel .... It's an acoustic set, so it's a unique chance to catch us play the hits and a few new tunes from the album in a beautiful venue, in a format we don't usually play. | Hi Wolfcubs, The boys are back! We're pleased to announce a small series of Christmas parties in November/December where the band will be previewing songs from their forthcoming album, as well as playing hits from the first album. These intimate shows are for the fans only and tickets are available exclusively through http://scoutingforgirlstickets.sandb... Monday 30th November: London - The Tabernacle - Notting Hill. (Age 16+) Wednesday 2nd December: Manchester - Night and Day (Age 16+) Thursday 3rd December: Glasgow - King Tuts (Age 14+ - under 16s with an adult) These shows are expected to sell out quickly. | Wolfcubs I hope you're all well. Thank you for voting for us in the brit awards. We're really excited about tomorrow night. It’s a great way to round off what has been the most amazing year. a band is only as good as their fans... And we have the best fans in the world. Thank you! Sorry we've been a bit quiet we've had a busy start to the year, touring germany for the first time and finishing the demos for album 2. We took time a couple of weeks ago to do a quick podcast where we answered some of the most frequent questions we had received on myspace. | Hello Wolfcubs, Congratulations to SFGs who received three Brit Nominations last night! ‘British Breakthrough Act’, ‘British Single’ for Heartbeat, and ‘British Live Act’ Here’s the official press release. Scouting For Girls Nominated For Three Brit Awards Scouting For Girls have been nominated for ‘British Breakthrough Act’, ‘British Single’ for Heartbeat, and ‘British Live Act’ at the Brit Awards 2009 launch party today in London. The pop trio enjoyed a phenomenal 2008 with one of the biggest selling British albums of the year and multiple sold out tours. The nominations cap a hugely successful 18 months which saw Scouting For Girls become the nation’s favourite new band. Scouting For Girls, who performed ‘She’s So Lovely’ and ‘Heartbeat’ live at the Roundhouse launch, achieved double-platinum status with their number 1 selling eponymous debut album, and performed to over 500,000 fans in 2008. Vocalist Roy Stride: “We’re thrilled to be nominated for three Brit Awards, and its two years to the day since we signed our record deal. This is all down to our fans, so we want to thank them by giving away a free EP. “This is also a massive thank you to all those that were making such a noise on our recent UK tour.
