Wanna see it again and again and again, but sadly I don’t have any money, my mum won’t let me go by myself and my mum wants to wait a couple of weeks so the crowds die down! Yeah, that’s sooo gonna happen!! Lol   According this guy on twitter (I know that doesn’t sound very reliable, but fan-sites are relying on him, soo…) these are the latest statistics on how well New Moon did and Twilighters, twi-hards, whatever you want to call yourself …we have done an excellent job! | firstly, forgive me if i seem a little distracted in this blog........ because it's only 2 DAYS UNTIL NEW MOON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! *ahem* just in case it slipped your mind....! This is going to be a pretty quick blog, i won't really be talking about any global twi-news today, mostly just about the New Moon fan event i went to at the weekend, so feel free to just 'forget' to read this one.... i'll understand..... lol And yes, if any of you guys were in Dublin this weekend for the New Moon release party, would you not agree that it was really good?!!! It was awesome to finally be able to talk to other people about Twilight, without having to say the word 'Twilight' quietly incase someone overheard me and thought 'oh god, here she goes again...!', without having to feel self-consious about wearing a Twilight t-shirt because everyone else was too, and without having to stop and explain every single reference i made, be it to the books or the movie or an interview or anything! Yes, as i said, awesome times!  It was also great to get to meet Solomon Trimble (who played Sam in the first movie: "The Cullens don't come here."). He answered fan questions for about an hour, and read some of his poetry (which, if you haven't experienced before, i suggest you go watch him reciting a poem we wrote from Sam to Emily here, as it is Beautiful! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IinQH... ). I thought that part might end up being a bit boring, because i figured Solomon had been kind of interviewed out by this stage and that i'd heard everything there was to hear, but I did actually hear plenty of new things! He spoke a bit about his upcoming projects, and read some more of his poetry which I don't think the fandom had heard before, but the thing that surprised me the most is that he actually tried just as hard as Taylor Lautner to keep his role as Sam for the rest of the Saga. I guess I had kind of been under the impression that it had been a minor decision to replace him, since even though we all knew he was 'Sam', he only had 2 lines and was only in the credits as 'Jacob's friend', but to Solomon at least it was a big deal - he spoke about how he worked out every day and filled up on protein from the moment his scenes in Twilight were finished filming - exactly like the story we all recognise as being Taylor's struggle to stay on as Jacob - but ultimately, Chris Weitz decided against keeping him. I guess, because he was a minor character, the media never picked up on it and so it didn't become a 'big deal' like Taylor did, but it was still saddening to hear that he really had tried that hard. And OF COURSE, my team won the table quiz!! (Although I was amazed to find one girl at my table actually knew more about the books than me! [only just though... hehe])All in all, it was a really great experience, and i definitely hope they do one again in the summer for Eclipse. | ZOMG! Ciara's actually doing a blog!! (**Edit by Ciara, um, just before i post this.... lol, yes i know this is wierd and doesn't make any sense, but work with me here: I wrote this blog last night but was unable to post it until now. Since writing it, there have been... 'developments' that basically make a moot point out of most of the entire blog, but since i am lazy i'm just going to leave it how it is and add in the 'developments' at the end. SO, if you know of these 'developments', bear with me until the end!) First of all, i would like to apologise for the lateness of this blog - i had a busy weekend (which involved me seeing the New Moon trailer in a tv shop on 100 screens at once!) and, well, if it hasn't already dawned on you, the Twilight world is ever so slightly hectic at the moment.....! I would also like to make it clear right away that i genuinely have no idea when i'll next be able to write a blog! It's very unlikely i'll be able to write one this coming weekend (more on what i'm doing then later!) and the following weekend...... Well, that's New Moon opening weekend!!!! That's right people - only 8 1/2 days left!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  So yeah, i don't know if i'm going to be able to blog that weekend either - i'll try to get some in during the week when i can though! And finally...... doing this blog is replacing twicrack searching, so if anything interesting has happend in the twi world since Sunday i haven't got around to looking at it yet so it's not going to make an appearance today! Now, back to business..... I'll tell you right away that almost all of this blog is going to be ROBSTEN-centred, so if you really don't like that...... um..... sorry! lol You shall see the reason for this at some point during the blog........ (warning: this blog may also contain ridiculous amounts of totally amature and in reality totally made up psychoanalysis....! )I also apologise in advance for the fact that there will be NO fanfic rec in this blog..... I'll try and have a good one for you in the next proper blog though!We all remember THAT Vanity Fair photoshoot Rob and Kristen did summer 2008, right...? (here's one pic, just to refresh your memory...! http://url.ie/2ubt ) WELL. I know that I for one never thought there could ever possibly be a better Robsten photoshoot..... I WAS WRONG. Check out these AMAZING pics from a recent shoot Rob and Kristen did with magazine Harper's Bazaar - um, you might want to leave some time to do this. A lot of time. Preferably alone or with fellow fangirls. And you may want to warn your neighbors to wear earmuffs...... Prepare. To. Be. Dazzled: http://www.bebo.com/c/photos/album_d... Thank god the albums can fit up to 96 photos now, because there are a LOT of outtakes...! *dies. like a million times over* Harper's Bazaar also has an interview with Rob and Kristen, in which it is briefly mentioned that they apparently called each other 'husband' and 'wife' on set.....! http://www.harpersbazaar.com/magazin... Also, in another interview, Kristen gets, um, rather annoyed when asked about Robsten rumours....... I think it's funny how Rob tries to interject in the middle, trying to be peaceful and calm her down, but there are a few things I think we can take from this little interview... 1. I'm deciding, on the basis of this, to believe that Kristen is definitely no longer with Michael 2. The fact that they're not longer actually 'denying' it gives me, um..... hope? lol. I'm not taking anything for granted, and again, i won't believe anything until i see or hear it for myself, but, you know..........! 3. Wow, Kristen. Defensive much?! Finally, (kind of) on the Robsten front, i just want to highlight this 2-part interview Kristen did recently with Access Hollywood - I can safely say, without doubt, that this is that HAPPIEST interview I have Ever seen with Kristen - she's positively glowing . Although I'll be the first to say we don't particularly know why she's so happy, it's just wonderful to see. She's come so far, anyone who was around for the press interviews this time last year will immediately see the difference from the nervous Kristen of the Twilight promotion to the newly confident and relaxed Kristen of the New Moon promotion - hell, she sees it herself!(of course, if i were so inclined, i could also speculate that some of this happiness/relaxedness comes from the relief of having in some way sorted out the Robsten mess - whatever actually IS going on, she's decided how she's going to answer it and now she's happy - either way, she's not lying, so i guess she doesn't feel pressured...... um, yeah, this excuse made sense in my head....! lol) The first part of this video interview is super cute - one of my favorite bits is when the interviewer holds up a picture of her and Rob from the Harper's Bazaar shoot and Kristen says, 'That's...... me and Rob....' - lol, idk, i thought it was kind of cute And then, even though the interview deliberately doesn't ask her That question, just asks her about tabloids and influences and her personal life (um, kinda...), she still kind of answers it anyway, in a mature kind of way, and that's really nice to see.... (lol, yeah, i have no idea if any of my rambling is making sense, but again, it sounded right in my head!) Also, i like the way how she says that it’s like ‘concentrated twilight all the time’, and then in the same breath says how great it is and really means it – no regrets, even though the paps are chasing her everywhere and she has no privacy. In part 2 of the same interview, my favorite part is how, when she's talking about how Bella has changed from Twilight to New Moon, she describes Bella in Twilight EXACTLY the same as how she described herself in the first part, how she was this time last year..... and this is so brilliant because she does this without realising the similarities (and from a possibly budding psychologist's point of view, this makes me happy.... )Watch part 2 here: http://www.hisgoldeneyes.com/2009/11... Completely unrelated to Robsten (well, uh, i guess that depends on how literally you take the movies....! ), a recent interview with screenwriter Melissa Roseberg revealed what i believe to be interesting details....In this interview, Melissa says that Breaking Dawn "could be PG13" - may i draw your attention to the word "could" in this sentence please.....! Regardless of how innocently Melissa meant it, this is the first time we've seen ANY hint of doubt as regards the rating of Breaking Dawn - any other time, no matter who was talking - be it Summit or the producers or Melissa herself - it's always been 'Breaking Dawn WILL be PG13, there's no reason for it not to be.' So I don't know about you guys, but this gives me the tiniest sliver of hope that maybe the BD movie will be a little more.... um.... WAIT!! HOLD UP!! Since the original writing of this blog (because that's the kind of person i am... ), there have been some major developments on the ROBSTEN front!!I kid you not! I log in to twitter today to find NEWS of the rather large kind which, after making me quite excited, then made me go, 'Wait. This totally messes up the point of the entire blog!' If you are very strongly opposed to papparazzi photographs or invading on celebrities' privacy, you will want to look away now.... (I would also like to mention that that particular issue makes me slighly uncomfortable too - if feels kind of wierd, or a bit wrong, to be raving about this group of picutres.... but at the same time, i don't think we can help it!) These photos were taken as Rob and Kristen were leaving Paris to head for the UK......... In my mindless comment-reading on various fansites, i have come across a number of people who have said something along the lines of: 'Just because they're holding hands, doesn't mean they're together! I hold hands with my guy friends all the time, and i have a boyfriend!' That is, of course, correct. They are 'only holding hands' (well, actually, they're technically not even holding hands.... But the intent is there!) HOWEVER. Rob and Kristen aren't idiots. They know exactly what's being going around about them in the media for the last few months, and that it's been getting even stronger lately with R&K technically not 'denying' anything. And they know that the paps are watching their every move, especially when they're together. And they know EXACTLY what most of the world will make of this. And look at the happiness on their faces! (Well, Rob's especially. Kristen, in some of the pics, is still trying a little bit to 'hide' herself). They're not trying to hide it! They KNOW they're going to be seen, they KNOW what people will think, and they're doing it and being ecstatic about it anyway! And that, ladies and gentlemen, is all i have to say on the subject for now. Make of it what you will. (However, Rob, Kristen, Taylor and Chris Weitz are doing a fan Q&A session in London... um, RIGHT NOW actually! so i imagine the question will likely come up at some point....!) Personally, i was hoping it would be red - i know it has a little bit of red on it, but i have to admit i was a little surprised to see the colors are so similar to the Twilight one...! I guess we'll just have to see what David Slade does with it! this week's fanfic rec is, if i do say so myself, AWESOMETASTIC! like Wide Awake, it's another gem written by a lovely lady who actually knows how to write (!), called Emanicpation Proclamation. This time it's one for the older twihards; it's rated M (18+), it's 53 chapters long so far and nowhere near finished! but now worries, it looks like it's being updated pretty frequently! It's all human and quite out of character, but the storyline is amazing, it's well thought-out and really keeps you guessing!Here's the author's summary: Edward grew up in a life of money, power, & respect. Isabella was born into slavery-has never known another way. Their worlds collide & neither will ever be the same again. Will he give her freedom? Can he bear to ever let her go? Now, i know what you're thinking - slavery?!! But trust me, it works! Give it a chapter or two, and once you've been introduced to Mafia Princeward you'll never go back...! (oh, and he speaks Italian. YES. Italian.... )Now, if fanfic lemons aren't really your thing but you still want to read a good story, you technically could read EP anyway.... the author does give lovely little warnings at the start of some chapters, like "Warning: this chapter contains sexual content, so if you're not old enought to do it, don't be reading it!" .... you might miss out on some of the story though...... This one is set well into the future of the Twilight universe, after (spoiler alert for the Healer) Jake and Nessie's wedding, and basically, it's Leah's story. Count yourselves lucky guys, that's probably not going to happen again any time soon....! Finally, if you do nothing else this weekend, you HAVE to check out this New Moon volvo commercial (unless you're REALLY trying to stay completely spoiler-free, that is...) It's got mostly old stuff, some stuff from Twilight and some stuff from New Moon, but it has two tiny new clips of Bella and Edward in the parking lot on the morning of Bella's birthday. It. Is. AH-MAZING!! Bella's look when Edward is walking towards her.... is just brilliant - it seems to me anyway like she's feeling exactly how Bella feels in the books when she hasn't seen Edward more than like, oh, 20 minutes?! lol, but really, this is one time when i've really felt the essence of the books on screen, what with so much of it being inside of Bella's head and all (plus, the second tiny clip shows a little bit of Bella's birthday kiss.....! )check it out here and prepare to be excited! **edit: it appears that Summit or volvo is being pissy and has gotten all the clips removed off of youtube If you're really desperate you can watch the first bit i was talking about here (erm, minus the music that person's added...!) but not in great quality http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pkt53... but otherwise, i guess you'll just have to wait till you see it on the big screen!that's all i have for this week - i know, it's not much! | Oh, the perks of having 2 mods - 2 blogs in one day! hehe anywho, this is just going to be a really quick blog about the competition I've had running for the last week and a half (see the end of this blog if your mind needs refreshing...! http://www.bebo.com/BlogView.jsp?Mem... ) Now, I do have to say that i'm still a bit disappointed with the response to that competition - i mean, i love doing fun things with you guys, but when only a handful of people participate, well, it's not that great...... ANYWAY, although there were a few good ideas for the New Moon slogan, none of them really had quite the tone i was looking for, so I ended coming up with my own (I did actually warn you this could happen, lol) - New Moon - 11/20/09 - so sad even Jacob couldn't cheer me up - i like the idea of it kind of reflecting the tone of the story a bit - like, for Twilight, the slogan was 'so dazzled even Jasper couldn't calm me down!' - in Twilight, Edward dazzles, in New Moon, he leaves and it's sad..... lol, yeah..... BUT NEVER FEAR!! because I am occasionally know to be a nice person (lol), i'm gonna do a giveaway anyway!! All you have to do is..... follow me and Jemma on Twitter!! | Eclipse filming is finally over… | 30 giorni fa | ||

| Hey guys, First of all, you’re going to get 2 blogs today!! Ciara’s competition winner and this one…Enjoy!! “RT @DAVID_A_SLADE: Twilight Eclipse officially wrapped shooting, at 4.30 am October 29th. Physically and emotionally exhausted.” From Twitter. I thought this was a very important matter and have decided to dedicate a whole blog to this topic So, yes, it has come to that time. Eclipse, the third film of the twilight saga is officially over according to himself, the director, David Slade. It doesn’t feel like so long ago that New Moon was just beginning to film. I remember when I was jumping up and down before I had to endure P.E. saying that “New Moon is gonna be filming soon!!” And now, Eclipse is finished. Breaking Dawn is all that is left. Eclipse. We have been updated with beautiful pictures of quite random things from David Slade throughout filming. He has promised us that he will keep us all posted throughout the months ahead. Well, what do we say to Mr. Slade? (lol I feel incredibly stupid writing this, but it has to be done!!) Thank you!! Thank you, David, for taking on the challenge of Eclipse; for taking on the challenge to please us Twilighters. Even though we have not seen the film, we are already ecstatic (right?). As soon as New Moon has been released and the hype has died down, we shall be watching your every move with this movie (stalker-ish much?). I am so excited and a bit sad. Does anyone else feel the same? Excited because 2 films have been filmed this year! Sad because we see no more on-set pictures and we didn’t have a lot anyway… Oh well, we still have the promo pics to look forward to!!
