| Hey all, some people are leaving comments saying they can't access the mobile site on some networks (for example Vodafone, Meteor Ireland). If you've tried to access the site already, could you leave a comment on this post saying: 1. Your country and mobile network 2. Your phone make/model 3. Can you access m.bebo.com? 4. If NOT, what happens or what error do you see? The more info we know the faster we can get this working for everyone... Thanks! | ||||

| Many thanks to everyone who sent us feedback during the beta version. Your suggestions and notes were invaluable to getting the site to where it is today. We wish we could've responded to each and every one of you, and yet we need to make sure we have enough time to make the site more awesome for you. We know that not everyone may know how to use Bebo on their mobiles, so feel free to go out and help your friends out in getting to the site and bookmarking m.bebo.com for them on their mobiles. There is still a lot of stuff we're brewing up in the mobebo labs. We've been listening to the feedback from you all, and it seems like lots of folks are wanting things like: - change profile picture - edit your profile? hmmm, maybe  - photo uploads We'll get some of these gears turning! | Hey Mobebo-ers, A lot of you are using Bebo Mobile on Orange UK and O2 Ireland, and are using (and enjoying) the text alerts feature quite a bit. However I've seen a bunch of questions lately about the alerts -- are you getting charged, how to control how many alerts you receive, or how to turn them off. So I thought I'd post it here for reference. First of all, all text alerts from Bebo Mobile are FREE so don't worry, it's not taking away any of your credit! Now, here's how to control the alerts you get: From the web Just go to http://www.bebo.com/MobileSettings.jsp - there you can choose a maximum of alerts to receive per day, which kind of alerts to receive, or turn them off completely. From your mobile You can reply STOP to any text alert to turn off alerts. Or you can text STOP to the Bebo shortcode in your country: - Orange UK: text STOP to 22326 - O2 Ireland: text STOP to 50205 Hope that helps! Cheerio, Jordy | ||||

| Straight from the Bebo Mobile labs comes the mobile site that you can use from all across the globe! We wanted to give you super awesome folk the sneak peak! Just go to m.bebo.com from your mobile and be one of the first to check it out! We're still actively testing and fixing and running around in a fury of excitement, so there may be hiccups here or there. No promises that all features work just yet. Comments, bugs, suggestions, etc. are all very much encouraged. Also remember: data rates may apply! | Right now Bebo Mobile is only available in a few countries and operators, but we're working hard to change that and make mobile features available to everyone. The first part of this plan is going to be a new mobile site at m.bebo.com which you can access from any phone, anywhere in the world. Ivan and I are working on this new mobile site right now. We know what a lot of the features are going to be already (the basics like Ch-ch-changes, View Profiles, send profile comments and mail, post a Saying, etc.) but we're looking to see if there are any other things that you all are just dying to have on your mobile. Here are a few examples off the top of my head to get the discussion started: - see all of your friends who are online now - chat rooms - Mobile Luv (what exactly is that? I dunno, but it sounds fun! )So if you have any feature suggestions, now would be a great time to let us know: just leave a comment to this blog post. A couple notes: - Think about what kinds of things might be most interesting to you while you are mobile, while you're out and about. Would you want to have more "useful" features like being able to easily lookup information about your friends, or more "fun" features that are good for killing time when you're bored. - Give as many details as possible so we know what you're talking about. - Do you already browse the internet on your phone? If so, what are some of your favorite mobile sites or features? No guarantees that we'll do every single suggestion, but I can promise that we'll take a look at every idea that comes through. And if you come up with something new that we end up using, I'll give you my luv for a week.  | ||||

Well, we have all this extra space on the back of the card that we can draw things on. We thought, "hey, all our awesome users are super creative and artistic (look at all the cool bricks!), why not let them help design our cards?"
