I don't know what inspired this, I really don't.
It just sort of came out so I decided to blog it as well as make it a Chapter because it's hidden & it's one of my favourite things I've written so here goes...hope you like!

Life without dreams
Is a life without meaning.
Where do thoughts go
When you keep them a secret?
Hidden inside you
Like a broken silhouette
Of memories,
Both past & present.

Life without sight
Is a life without direction
Where can you go
When your eyes don't show you the way?
Hidden world stops you
Like a not-so merry-go-round
Thats creaking,
Both fun and scary sometimes...

You've got to take the bad with the good
Oh, you know you really, really should
Stop letting your fears surround your head at night
When demons are hunting.

Life without voice
Is a life without identity
Who can you be
When your throats tight shut every time?
Hidden thoughts choke you
Like a stale piece of bread
You know that
You've not got much time left.

Life without touch
Is a life without comforting
How can you love
When your body won't let someone near?
Hidden emotions
Bury themselves deep inside
You know that
You've not got much longer to hide...

You've got to take the bad with the good
Oh, you know you really, really should
Stop letting your fears surround your head at night
When demons are hunting.
You've got to let yourself be free
Don't be afraid of the reality
There ain't anyone else
Who can stop you being someone.

Life without dreams
Is meaningless
Nightmares don't pass the time
They only keep you awake at night, that's no good to you.
Let your childhood memories run around
Be happy once again, my friend
The Demons Are Hunting, watch out.
