Hilary Duff’s latest movie Staying Cool played at The Tribeca Film Festival last night and she spoke exclusively with Hollyscoop.com about trying to keep her relationship with hockey player Mike Comrie cool while living a hot Hollywood life.

“I think that we are kinda private,” Hilary told hollyscoop.com. Though, “it’s impossible to live your life completely that way when people are waiting outside your house all the time.”

It’s also hard when “crazy things are written about you that are not true” Hilary said. So how does she deal with all the attention? “Try to let it roll of your back and be confident in your own relationship. Support each other that’s how we’ve made it work.”

Hilary is also making her acting career work. In Staying Cool she plays a high school senior who chases after a famous actor at the prom. She also just filmed an episode of Law & Order: SVU and has The Story of Bonnie and Clyde shooting in a few months.

It sounds like Hilary Duff does have a pretty cool life.

Haylie Duff (@HaylieK on Twitter) has another TV movie set to come out this fall. The movie, A Nanny’s Secret, will air on Lifetime in September.

In A Nanny’s Secret, Haylie Duff stars as Claudia, a University student who is close to becoming a teacher. She has a bit of a difficult past, but much ahead of her: she has a great boyfriend, Drew, (Eric Johnson), and lives with a great family, where she’s nanny for their 7-year-old son Aiden Tyrrell (Alex Cardillo).

Claudia’s father passed away, leaving Claudia and her younger brother Carter (Dillon Casey) on their own. Carter lives a life of parties and drugs, and Claudia has had to bail him out of jail a few times. However, when Carter finds himself owing a drug dealer a lot of money, Claudia decides she can’t keep loaning him the cash. Carter and Claudia have a huge fight, and the following night there’s a home invasion at the Tyrrell home; a shooting results.

When the police arrive, Claudia tries to hide Carter’s issues and his knowledge of the house… but this comes back to haunt her. Convinced that Carter is innocent, she tries to uncover the real truth… and finds herself caught in a web of lies, greed and betrayal.

While answering a phoned-in question for MuchOnDemand, Hannah Montana star Miley Cyrus received a thrilling surprise – the seemingly random caller was actually Hilary Duff!

When the secret was revealed to Cyrus, she was flabbergasted and literally couldn’t speak for a few seconds. Once she gained her composure, the host asked whether Miley wanted any advice from Ms. Duff.

“Anything!” Miley exclaimed. “You are amazing and getting to meet you was seriously…it was like…I never like, be quiet, and I was for once, speechless! I was so happy. so thank so much just for everything! And also, and I never got a chance to tell you this, but thank you for making it cool to be a good girl and to want to be a good role model. Thank you making that cool. Cuz that’s something that really…I look up to you a lot for that.”

“Awww…thank you so much,” Duff replied. “Well you’re doing such a good job and you have such a career ahead of you and it’s been really cool just to get to watch someone I know admires me to see them grow up and be so successful and do things that they love and have fun. And that’s one thing you should always remember is that as hard as it is to make those sacrifices of not getting to be with your friends or waking up early you know, it’s still worth it. And so many people would love to be in your boots.”

The mutual admiration the two had for each other was palpable to everybody who was watching.

Former teen star HILARY DUFF doesn't regret missing out on her childhood, because she has gained the career that she has always wanted. The teenager has been working non-stop since she shot to fame at 13. Duff's big break came when she was offered the lead role in hit Disney kids show Lizzie Maguire and she went on to star in a string of successful movies and sold over 13 million records worldwide when she turned her hand to singing. The 19-year-old told British Cosmopolitan, "I do feel like I've missed out on some of that typical growing-up stuff, but then I can do a lot of things that most people my age never could. "And right now my friends are worrying about what to do in the future, while I've already got the career of my dreams."

As I am sure lots of you already know, Hilary Duff is currently on tour with her new album "Dignity".

She is currently touring in the USA and Canada. For all British fans that were wondering when she was coming here to tour...

Sorry folks! No news about UK tour dates as of yet! Keep viewing back. I will post them as soon as I hear from Hilary's administrator on her website! Best wishes guys! Lara :o)
