| Youth Forum Sponsored Walk 15th July | 858 Tage her | ||
| Report on the youth forum sponsored walk held 15th July. There was 3 of us dedicated youth forum members along with Nige who walked the 9.5 miles around the Louth area staring and finishing in Hubbards Hills on the 15th July. It took us just under 4 hours with only 3 stops along the way. Even though there wasn’t very many of us we had fun, talked about anything and everything and didn’t get wet! So all in all it was a good day and we all felt like we could have walked more! Also by doing it we raised around £100 for the youth forum. | |||

| Youth Forum Day - 8th July 2008 | 866 Tage her | ||
| This last youth forum day was held at Riseholme College on the 8th July 2008. It was a huge success with everyone meeting new people as there was a great turn out with new faces. The day started off with ice-breaker games such as one lie and two truths, then followed by discussions on the little lincs link, future events, the Wales trip, the campout and development and funding. After everyone had finished discussing these topics the group was rather hungry and we enjoyed a pizza picnic outside by the lake. Later on we had a jam-packed afternoon were we played a game of rounder’s (which was not called off due to bad light), after we played a game of hide-and-seek, which was followed by a lazy afternoon relaxing and playing more games, for example the lemonade game, malteser pick up and manhunt! This day was thoroughly enjoyed by all, and if you haven’t made it to a youth forum day, then why not? | |||

| Report on the Grantham YFC climbing wall day | 890 Tage her | ||
| On Sunday 15th April the junior members of the county were invited to Grantham YFC to have a go on their climbing wall. Quite a lot of people turned up, though most were from Grantham anyway, but it was a reasonable turn out. The day was thoroughly enjoyed by all, even Alice Smithson who seemed to spend a lot of time clutching to the wall at about 2 feet up, screaming. As well as the climbing wall we played badminton, (or attempted to play badminton), had some very violent games of air hockey, and had a go with those weird pattern bead things that you iron (whatever they’re called). It’s just a pity that there weren’t many people that didn’t go to Grantham or Market Rasen, because you’re all missing out. So it was yet another reason for anybody who hasn’t decided to come to the Youth Forum yet to do so. | |||

| Report on Youth forum day held on the 1st April | 890 Tage her | ||
If you haven’t been to a youth forum day before you should really start coming and get involved. They’re great fun and you meet loads of new people from all different clubs that are all our age (18 and under.) On the last youth forum day that was on the 1st April we all met again at Riseholme College at 10:30 where we played some icebreaker games in the morning like human bingo and the toilet roll game! Then we broke off into smaller groups and discussed some things like the little lincs link (our newsletter for stuff we want to know about,) our campout, weekend away and fundraising ideas. After reporting back to the group we all went down to the super bowl in Lincoln where we all had a wimpy! And then played 2 games of bowling to see which team would win. Then we went back to Riseholme to hand out the prizes- Easter eggs- for the bowling competition and a round up of the day! They’re always great fun and you get to know loads of new people, so come along to the next one on Sunday July 8th! | |||
