| Hey guy's thought i'd drop in and give you all an update on whats been happeningin the sub rosa camp. first of all, WE HAVE LYRICS AND VOCALS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! wooooooo Nicky has finally placed verbage the music, and we're starting to make some progress finally, and are hopefully going to get our first ep finalised. Secondly, Garath our rhythm guitarist has had to take a step back from the band, as is now engaged and is getting his own house so has other responsibilities at the moment, and we wish him all the best of luck with his future. But fear not, we're are currently trying out a number of aplicants to complete our line up once again and hopefully will be ready to hit the stage again before the end of june Also watch this space as we have also decided that with the amount of line up changes recently we are going to come back with a frest image and make a new start so will keep you posted  Love to all Robbie | ||||

| Must say this practice was the first in 8 weeks and although pensive at the start the sounds are still there. I must give a big shout out on Nikki's part for her vocals, put simply its hard to find as sweet a voice that this girl has and I'm pleased out of all of us she turned up tonight ready to go. We're workin on covers at the minute and pushing for our 4 song E.P for April. If theres any covers you feel are suited for us please post up folks. The E.p tracks are not finalized as we have a shit load to choose from but there are two absolute definates, 'Derailed' and 'Summer bleeds', the possible other contenders are 'Money from the Weak' and 'Bite the Bullet'. Practice hopefully is now full time in Antrim as is recording of a short demo that I've arranged, there will be 50 copies of this short demo made and the first 50 fans to post on the site will get one free. We still feel however that we would like a double vocal arrangement so if you can sing get in touch. Cheers the Afro Bear. Covers so far. Fleetwood Mac - Go your Own Way. Tip top. | Been scouting recently in Scotland for gigs and I must say it was a fruitfull visit. Flying with Ryanair, the only passenger jets to be run on Red diesel, I noticed several things. Notable fact number one, Ryanair is officially furnished by Lidl and attended by their staff, despite Kirk Weinstens, from Down, littler but fatter brother being incharge of refuelling at Glasgow Prestwick. Notable fact number two is that if you sit in line with the front of the actual jet engine, oh say row 12, they sound freakishly like a dyson hoover or the exact frequency we just loose the ability to hear them, entering offcourse the spectrum only dogs can. You just know you have permission to invisage a steriotypical Lucky charms Leprechaun behind the whell because the bastards actually come around in the cabin selling lottery tickets, thats right, fuckin lottery tickets, that are dearer than the flight you just paid for. Anyways I've taken on some mangement roles at the minute so check out the Urban Crime Spree and our very own Chris Mitchell playing Queens student Union and the gig at Maddens on Feb 29th with the Replays, should be good. Sub-Rosa are preparing for our debut e.p hopefully out this April but we are still without a male vocalist, if you know someone get in contact. Practice is being moved to Antrim were a new artists venture is being prepared thanks to the AfroBear. Fuck these plugs are easy. Aaron out. | ||||
