I got so many requests from Beboers and others to do a new War mixtape over the last year and the day is finally coming!!

On Sept 22nd THE WAR MIXTAPE VOL II will be released exclusively from www.ukrecordshop.com The double CD also includes VOL I and will be released in a limited edition so make sure to order your copy now and help support the movement!

To kick things off i've got a FREE DOWNLOAD of one of the new mixtape tracks available at www.myspace.com.thewarmixtape so let me know what you guys think of it :)

I've got a UK mini-tour happening in Sept and Oct - dates below. These shows have been selling out so make sure to book your tix in advance.

The video blogs give a behind the scenes look at the release of his new album "Freedom Lasso" and some of his recent shows.

Finally my album is out in stores. Thank you to all the Beboers who have been messaging me and giving me feedback about the tracks, i really appreciate it!

I don't want to harp on about it but if you enjoy the music please understand that i'm 100% indepenedent and i need you lot to buy it with real money in order to keep making it in the future!

The album is out in HMV & Virgin, it's also avaialble on iTunes, Napster, MSN music and other download sites.

It's in Shoreditch at the "Old Blue Last" 38 Great Eastern Rd. Doors open at 8pm. Make sure to get there early to ensure entry.

People - now i know all u web-crazed Beboers can no doubt eventually track down a bootlegged copy of my tracks out there on the net. I am all for getting my music out there but i gotta make a living too, otherwise i won't be able to stay in this music game too much longer.

So if you are feeling my music you can now show your luv by pre-ordering the new single from the Music Store here. When you purchase any tracks you will not be able to download them until the official release date which isn't too far away - Sept 17th.

So, you ask: If I can't get the tracks now, why bother pre-ordering?

The main reason is to show your support for the music i'm making. Because i am 100% independent and not signed to some major label i need to sell records in order to keep making good music. Your 79p not only helps you support what i'm doing but if enough of my fans pre-order the tracks i may be able to get my music into the charts and somehow try to compete with the massive amount of money major labels throw away each week ensuring their artists get into the charts as well. The system is rigged against emerging artists like me but services such as Indiestore may just help redress the balance. You can make a difference!!

So if you like what you hear show me some pre-order love! :) And if you do purchase any tracks just send an email to info@illastate.com with "Indiestore Purchase" in the title and i promise to send reminder emails out to you on release date so that you can be among the first to download the new tracks.
