all things good must . . . 487 days ago

So here it is. After having the best year so far in Page 6 we have decided it is time that we have a break from playing for a while. The intention is to write the new album and take in some new experiences for some inspiration.

We have some cracking new tunes but need the time to get things together and basically a break from Marcs moaning would be welcomed by the band...Some may think that Shugs ego has taken over and he now wants to go solo but he assures us that this is not the case.

We would like to thank everyone who has been coming to the shows since the album launch and to ensure you will like us we are not prepared to keep playing the same songs every week in the same place.

To make things a little but more special we have decided to play just one more gig this year and do it in Dundee, this promises to be a special night and probably emotional as it will be the last time we play the album from start to finish, ever.

Doghouse - Sat 20th September 2008

Who knows what the stuff will sound like yet but Marc has a penchant for Scooter at the moment so it could be interesting.

After lengthy discussions we decided the following:

Graeme will undergo hair growth treatment for the next album or have to where a hat forever.

Shug will go on a diet.

Marc will stay in the closet.

Graeme will one day return a call or answer his phone.

Shug will help at gigs.

Marc will cut his razor sharpe toe nails.

Once all of the above has been achieved we will return with our new album.

We have also decided to sell the Page 6 van. It will be a sad day but it has served us well. Although we now have to think of a new gimmock...

We hope to see you all soon
