| 09 Sep 2008 Im setting up an NGO which will help raise funds and deliver it straight to the orphanage in honduras...i dont know too much about it just yet but im learning, i've got the support of my very popular friends....and i intend to put on a concert for the charity......where uk acts can play ie Beverly Knight, the HOOsiers..the Feeling ... adelle. etc to help fundraise..all the proceeds will go straight to the orphanage thats been collected by the NGO..... look out for the footage of me in honduras on youtube!!! | 12 Sep 2008 im in honduras in central america... doing my best to help these children have a good life, they have nothing but love from the people who work here, and have been abandoned by their parents.. amazing intelligent kids with the hope of a bright future with OUR HELP.. they use limperas here and thats equivalent to virtually NOTHING for us, 1 pound for us is like 50 limperas for them. so what we have goes a huge way, i cry whilst writing this coz the children need us in the western world so bad they're studying english and maths... and are so bright and beautiful, thay hardly have any clothes between a family of children..ripped Tshirts and vests... they don't have fresh water so it can be dangerous for them to drink.. they don't have roads just DUSTY pathways here in tierra santa.. my quest here is to bring some happiness to them and to create awareness in the western modern society... they are so young and so bright,, they just had a bad start in life.. and SO MUCH THAT WE TAKE GRANTED... WOULD BE A DREAM FOR THEM, just to experience the kind of life we live. please help. | ||||

| David Jordan wowed the crowds at Blackpool last weekend with a stunning acoustic set. He was in Blackpool at the Radio 2 party with a host of stars to celebrate this year’s illumination ‘switch on’, and after his performance he set-off into the crowd to see revellers who had turned-up to party. | To mark the launch of the 2008 Blackpool Illuminations today (Aug 29) Radio 2 have put together a mega live concert and have invited David to perform for what is expected to be a massive crowd. He’ll join the likes of Boyzone and Scouting For Girls at the show which will be broadcast live on Radio 2 http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio2/ from 8.30pm. So listen in if you can or better still get down to Blackpool Promenade yourself to enjoy the gig in person. | ||||

| David was on top form this weekend when he rocked up to The 02 Wireless Festival at London’s Hype Park. Taking to the stage prior to sets from Mark Ronson and Jay-Z David charmed the crowd with an energetic set that saw him right on top of his live game.
