Well okay it IS, but I cannot be held responsible. Well okay I CAN, but I really don't want to be, and let's leave it at that. | Well now, THAT was a Christmas. I love getting presents. I mean, I really love it. I don?t think that?s EVER getting old. I got loads of clothes and a couple of CDs and DVDs and, for some reason, a stapler. I don?t know why I got a stapler. Dad made it clear that the stapler was from him, like he didn?t want someone else taking the credit. Er, thanks Dad. So, I got the new Bourne film, and the last Pirates of the Caribbean, and this super cool Irish film called Once. AND I got the soundtrack which is playing as I type. The song ?Falling Slowly? is just mind-bendingly brilliant. After the present giving we went visiting. We always go to Mum?s side of the family first, and it?s all warm and happy at my Nana?s house with all the aunties and uncles and cousins. And then we called in my father?s side of the family, which consists of Beryl and Fergus and the Toxic Twins. We stood around for twenty minutes in the living room. Not fun. They had a rubbish Christmas tree, too. The Twins were trying to give me the evil eye. Amateurs. I know people who can REALLY give you the evil eye. The Twins just look cross-eyed. So then we went home, and had turkey and ham and roast potatoes and gravy, just me and my folks. Sometimes I wish I had a little sister or brother, to kind of make the family bigger and keep Christmas special. But hey, being an only child has its perks too. The neighbours came around in the evening, as they always do, and the songs and games started up, and I left them and went outside and met SP. I don?t think he has any family of his own anymore, but he didn?t seem sad or anything. He gave me the coolest present EVER, and I gave him a new scarf (he likes scarves). We chatted for ages and then he got a call and had to go, and I headed back in just as charades started up. It was my Dad?s turn and he stood up and flapped his arms around. I?m not sure he understands the rules of the game. Or the objective. It was a good Christmas, and a good few days. Nice and peaceful. SP told me to take it especially easy, because he has a feeling 2008 is going to be trouble. | ||||

| Went to see Tanith today. Her doctor is a hilariously cantankerous old man called Kenspeckle, who doesn?t seem to like SP all that much, but he was pretty cool when he fixed my leg. When we got to Tanith?s room, two of Kenspeckle?s assistants were in there, both trying to flirt with her. As we walked in they started arguing with each other, so Kenspeckle told them to get out. We heard them wrestling in the hallway a few seconds later. Tanith?s in good form. She wants a rematch against the guy who put her in here, but SP told her that he hadn?t been seen since. She got kind of sulky after that. She?s like a little kid, I swear to God. | ||||

| Valkyrie again. I really don?t know why I?m doing this. I?m probably bored. That?s what it is. You?d be bored too, if you lived where I live. Haggard is in north County Dublin (that?s in Ireland, for those of you who don?t know), and I?ve lived here my whole life, and to be perfectly honest with you, I?ve seen all there is to see here, and it?s time to move on. I live with my folks ? their names are Melissa and Desmond to you, Mum and Dad to me ? beside the beach, so that?s actually pretty cool. I love when it?s all stormy and the sea is crashing, because when I?m lying in bed I can hear it and it?s the nicest sound in the world. It?s something powerful, and completely out of anybody?s control, and for some reason I love that. Uh... I really should read more blogs, to find out what other people talk about. Not that it makes any difference- I mean, who the hell is going to be reading this, you know? | ||||
