| SMCCC; also known as "Seth MacFarlane's Cavalcade of Cartoon Comedy" has just been unveiled on the net on a brand new site which will be dedicated to the show, namely SethComedy.com. The website currently features a short introductory clip, also viewablein our flash box. Seth MacFarlane's Cavalcade of Cartoon Comedy will premiere on September 10th 2008 on SethComedy.com, with a new clip being added each week to the website and the Burger King YouTube channel. Note that all visitors to the new website on September 10th will have a chance to win a very cheesy meet and greet with Seth MacFarlane. Why is it so cheesy? Because you'll have to treat him to a meal at a Burger King somewhere in Los Angeles. | ||||

| Okay, so while we all already know what the Family Guy Volume 6 DVD will look like (that's the region 1/USA version to you lesser-intelligent individuals), Fox have finally released the packaging for the European version of the same DVD, namely Family Guy season 7. Okay, so as you can see, it's pretty much identical to the region 1 version of the DVD, albeit with the "season seven" replacing the "volume six" previously seen. Still, at least now you know what to look for when it's released in Europe on November 10th. | ||||

| The region 2 version of the Volume 6 DVD has finally been given a release date, much to the relief of Europeans. Family Guy season 7, we can confirm thanks to Fox, will be released on the 10th November 2008. No other information about the box set is available at this point. In other news, two other "best of" DVDs will be released in region 2 in October. The 6th of October sees "Family Guy: Best of Stewie" being released, while "Family Guy: Best of Peter" will be released on October 13th. Remember, all of these release dates are only applicable to Europe, Turkey, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Japan and South Africa; also known as region 2 in the world of DVDs. | ||||

| Due for an October 21 release, the Region 1 version of the Family Guy Season 7 DVD (still has a TBC release) will contain the following: It will include a total of 12 episodes spanning 3 discs, and will include the season 5 episode "No Meals On Wheels" up till the season 6 episode "McStroke". It will also include commentaries on every single episode, along with the 100th Episode Special in which MacFarlane talks to non-fans of the show and asks what they think of it, a Family Guy Live segment, a music video, tons of deleted scenes and more, bringing the total running time up to 374 minutes. If one new addition to the range of Family Guy DVDs wasn't enough for you, here's another: The Freakin' Sweet Party Pack. An alteration of the previously seen "Freakin' Party Pack", it seems the addition of the word "Sweet" to the title means that a whole lot more Family Guy is packed into the package this time around. Alright, deep breath. This new set contains: every season of Family Guy including the new Volume 6 to be released this coming October, Stewie Griffin: The Untold Story, Family Guy: Blue Harvest, a Family Guy-themed ping pong set including paddles, a net and balls, 100 poker chips and 2 sets of playing cards, along with American Dad! Volume 1 for some nice and easy promotion. Phew! The set contains a total of 22 discs with over 100 episodes, and features a re-worked version of the packaging to boot. This new set will coincide with the upcoming Volume 6's October 21 release. REMEMBER: While these are both to be released on October 21 in the USA and Canada, we can expect the same DVDs (with altered packaging) to be released in Region 2 (Europe, Turkey, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Japan and South Africa). | Seth MacFarlane has once again decided to leak some information concerning a new Family Guy feature film which is somewhere in the pipeline. With this new information, it seems the movie will be here closer than we thought. Talking to TV Week on the subject he says, “We do want to do it and we will do it at some point. It’s just time. We in the past 6 months started talking seriously about it. So my hope is that we’ll get going in the next year. Doing the show is a seven day a week process and finding the time to squeeze in a movie is… I don’t know how we’re gonna do it but we’ll figure it out.” As for what the movie will be about when MacFarlane finally gets going on it, he says, “I have an idea of what it’s gonna be. It’s definitely something that you could not do on the show, which to me is the only reason to do a movie.” This will be Family Guy's first ever feature film, as Stewie Griffin: The Untold Story was just three normal episodes placed back-to-back. | ||||

| Amazon.com have just released information on their website which suggests that the long awaited Family Guy Volume 6 will be released this coming October 21st. This new three disc set is now available to pre-order at $25.99, however, this is a special Amazon price, and fans can expect to pay $39.99 for the new box set at other stores both on and off the web. Quoted as being 374 minutes long, we can break this down to mean that about 18 episodes will be included in the new set. However, this does not leave any time for the special features which are sure to grace the box set also. In reality, we can expect FOX to stick to their usual trend by releasing no more than 13 or 14 episodes with the set. Unfortunately for Europeans, the release date for the Family Guy season 7 box set, the UK version of the DVD, is yet to be announced. The same can be said for all other versions of the new release. | ||||

| "The Cleveland Show", the working title for Seth MacFarlane's new Family Guy spinoff will be set in Stoolbend, VA. TMR Zoo have released new information on the show, due to begin in early 2009, stating that the story is the tale of what happens when Cleveland Brown moves to VA to "make good" on a promise to his high school sweetheart, Donna. These new details confirm that Cleveland and his son will infact remain in the state, and may not appear as regular characters in later episodes of Family Guy. The synopsis concludes with the phrase: "Family Guy Was Only The Beginning". The following is the complete synopsis from TMR Zoo: THE CLEVELAND SHOW (working title) (Sundays, 9:30-10:00 PM ET/PT): Many years ago, CLEVELAND BROWN (voiced by Mike Henry) was a high school student madly in love with a beautiful girl named DONNA. Much to his dismay, his love went unrequited, and Donna wound up marrying another man. Cleveland once told Donna he would always love her, and if this man ever done her wrong, he’d be there when she called. Well, this man done her wrong. Donna’s husband skipped town with another woman, leaving Donna with a daughter and a baby. Now she’s come to Cleveland and offered him another chance at love. Unattached after the Loretta-Quagmire debacle and true to his word, Cleveland joyously accepts and he and CLEVELAND JR. move to Stoolbend, VA, to join their new family. Once in Stoolbend, Cleveland has a few surprises in store for him, including a flirtatious new stepdaughter, a 5-year-old stepson who loves the ladies, as well as a collection of neighbors that includes a loudmouth redneck couple, a British family seemingly stuck in the Victorian era and a family of bears living at the end of the block. | Season 6 of Family Guy (That's season 7 to us Europeans) is to have just 12 episodes. "The Former Life of Brian", the penultimate episode of season 6 aired last night on FOX in the USA. It received mixed reviews. Watch it for yourself here: http://www.familyguyx.net/ The final episode of the season will air on May 4th, entitled "Long John Peter". Here is the episode summary: Yo ho ho! It's a pirate's life for Peter when he gets a pet parrot. But after raising hell in Quahog and terrorizing the neighbors, Peter accidentally kills his beloved pet. Meanwhile, Chris goes with Brian to the vet and falls for the lovely intern Anna. The release of "season 7" in Europe (Probably late summer 200  will see the rest of Family Guy season 5 (FOX bases its seasons on the broadcast year that begins in September through to the August of the following year), and some episodes of season 6, more than likely not them all. Here's what you can expect to see on the European "season 7" of Family Guy DVD: From broadcast season 5 (That's season 6 to you and me): -No Meels On Wheels(this episode aired directly after the final episode on your "season 6" DVD, "Bill and Peter's Bogus Journey") -Boys Do Cry -No Chris Left Behind -It Takes A Village Idiot, And I Married One -Meet The Quagmires From broadcast season 6 (season on TV now in America): - -Movin' Out (Brian's Song) -Believe It Or Not, Joe's Walking On Air -Stewie Kills Lois (1) -Lois Kills Stewie (2) -Padre De Familia -Peter's Daughter -Mcstroke -Back To The Woods My guess is that it gets cut off there (@ Back To The Woods), the following appearing in a later DVD: -Play It Again, Brian -The Former Life of Brian -Long John Peter ...along with broadcast season 7, airing in USA Fall 2008. So don't expect "Something, Something, Something Dark Side till early 2009 (as that's towards the end of broadcast season 7) Trust FOX to confuse the hell outa us, huh?  | ||||
