	Heyy...so many of our friends have sent us messages of frustration because they wanted to buy our single "let it go" but it was only available by buying the step up 2 soundtrack. On Bended Knee- Boys II Men are the greatest..such amazing voices and so much feeling 2. I Knew I Loved You-Savage Garden, the concept is so nice.."I knew I loved you before I met you, I think I dreamed you into life." I'd like someone to have written that for me 3. Purple Rain-Prince the music alone evokes such a sad feeling...the melody is beautiful 4. Give Into Me- Michael Jackson, never a big hit for some reason but I love it. His aggressive way of singing against Slash's wailing guitar is fantastic. 5. Irreplaceable-Beyonce, such a girl power song. Don't know how Ne-yo understands women so well to be able to write something like this! Haha 6. Can't Make You Love Me-Bonnie Rait, such a great song...so sad. The lyrics and her delivery are amazing. 7.I Feel Good-James Brown..so much fun..always puts me in a great mood! 8. Foxy Lady-Jimi Hendrix, the epitome of cool. Such a great guitar riff and his swagger is crazy 9. What's Love Got To Do With It-Tina Turner..love her attitude, a real anthem. 10. Superstition-Stevie Wonder..funky and soulful! I love his tone. 11. Because You Loved-Celine Dion..she's one of my favorites...I grew up singing to her and this is one of her best 12. Run To You- Whitney Houston, one of the best ballads ever! 13. Hero- Mariah Carey this song is a classic, I used to practice this song all the time to learn all her riffs 14. Trust A Try-Janet Jackson..the production on this song is crazy! 15. Prince-Peach..fun song, great lyrics, and a great goove

Video made me love it even more Give In To Me- Michael Jackson - love the whole feel and Slash's guitar playing I Can't Make You Love Me-Bonnie Raitt- The words and emotion in her voice is so great! On Bended Knee - Boyz II Men - love the melody, the harmonies, and their amazing voices! Foxy Lady - Jimi Hendrix - love the feel of this song, his guitar playing (of course) and the way he phrases the lyrics (so cool) Part-time Lover - Stevie Wonder - love his voice and have always loved this melody in particular Respect - Aretha Franklin - classic. She's amazing and this song is such a great female anthem Ain't Too Proud To Beg - The Temptations - Always loved this song, the lyrics are great, they sing about begging but remain cool while doing it. Purple Rain - Prince - such a great song, the emotion in his voice and in the music is amazing. I love songs that evoke emotions, so many songs these days don't. Kiss - Prince - love the lyrics and the groove. I Want You Back - Jackson 5 -love little Michaels voice...sounds so happy! Walk This Way - Aerosmith and Run DMC - Love the two of them together, the attitude they all have in their voices. Don't Let Me Get Me - Pink - love Pink's voice and these lyrics are great. How Could An Angel Break My Heart - Toni Braxton - I've always loved the emotion in her voice and these lyrics and melody are beautiful. La Solitudine - Laura Pausini - An italian ballad that I have always loved. Can't understand it but you can feel her emotion and the melody is beautiful.

	Even though we weren't performing or getting an award we decided that we should go especially since the show was named after me lol. Actually our producer Dallas Austin was in town so we were basically just hangin with him, his crew and Lulu...great night...especially liked Leona Lewis' performance and thought Rihanna looked amazing! Mark Ronson was also incredible . xx Brit

	Back in the UK!	hace 646 días
	Finally back to the UK happily ensconsed in London visiting some of our fav friends and places. Went to the Soho Review Club friday night...our first time...such a circus haha ...had fun and headed out next morning for Paris. Our friend, Nathalie, from America flew in and we all left on the eurostar...had a great few days planned...shopping, of course, art history guide for the Louvre, great restaurants and clubs...sound great? Here's the reality...got to the apartment we were supposed to be staying at and there was no heat. It was freezing and Brit and I were both fighting off the flu...which we didn't win we had to leave the apartment and check into a hotel. By the time we got to the hotel we were both feeling hideously bad but we soldiered on haha to an amazing dinner. Had to skip the club as we were fading fast. The next morning we were burning up (as Brit would say...she can be a bit of a hypochondriac .) Actually did have fevers, had to call in the Doc and have been in bed ever since. Not fun, with the Brit Awards in two days and our producer, Dallas Austin, arriving we need to bounce back fast. Anyone with any home remedies feel free to let us know...check us out at the Brits...more on the glamorous lives lol of Brit and Alex to come. Xx Alex

	Step Up 2 Soundtrack Single	hace 699 días
	Heyyy...This is the first real blog we've written cuz we've pretty much been just writing and recording in the studios. Our blogs would have seemed like groundhog day to you haha...finally, we have news!!! Alex and I have a single off the Step Up 2 soundtrack called "Let It Go". The movie is scheduled to be released mid-February. Now that we have more to talk about, either Alex or I will keep you posted so you can experience the process along with us. You'll probably hear more from Alex than from me cuz she likes to write and I like to talk. Thanks so much for all your support...we love you guys!!! Xx Brit
