The 22nd UCD Fashion Show welcomes the support of bebo.com in providing promotional support for the Show on 29th February. Bebo will be promoting the event on their homepage and ramming home the need for students from all colleges, in all parts of Ireland to get their ticket for Europe's largest student fashion event.

Tickets for the UCD Fashion Show 08 can be bought right now through the live link on www.ucdfashionshow.com which links to the RDS's new online ticketing facilities - see home page for link.

In addition, tickets can be ordered by phoning 0818 300 207 - Keith Prowse Ticketing are handling these calls free of charge.

Tickets will be sold on campus throughout the month of February from a dedicated table which will be set up in the arts building.

To ensure that members of the cast and committee get good seats for their families and friends, 5 tickets (from each persons 20 ticket allocation) will be alloted to each person in the New Year in blocks E and F (left and right of the catwalk). These must be paid for in advance so start selling over the Christmas break!

Support crew required for 2008 show!hace 678 días
 
The 2008 Show is looking to recruit a further 25 - 30 people to support hair and make-up, ticket administration and back stage requirements down at the RDS Simmonscourt on 29th February.

If you are interested in helping out, drop us an email outlining which area you'd like to work in and we'll get back to you.

Shortlist- Model of the year nominees 2008hace 678 días
 
Last year's male model of the year was Zak Jordan, then a second year ecconomics student, member of the UCD Snow Sports and Lacrosse teams and Irish University Snowboard Freestyle Champion.

The winner of the female model of the year was Lynda Corrigan, from Blackrock in Dublin. Lynda was then a first year Medical student. They both won modelling contract with the Assets Model Agency.

The fourteen shortlisted candidates for the 2008 Show are as follows:

Ticket prices going down!hace 678 días
 
2008 ticket prices have dropped with student tickets now priced at €20 and adult tickets €40. A special family ticket for €100 admits two adults and two students/siblings. Tickets will be available soon - check back here for more details on availability.
