| We're looking for a guitarist and possibly a bassist, with new members will hopefully bring a new sound. Ideally, aged roughly 19-24, have a good knowledge of music theory, and be free to attend a minimum of four practice sessions a week. If you know anyone who might be interested or indeed anyone who might know someone who'd like to join please PLEASE let us know! We're also up for a no strings attached jam if anyone wants to play with us for the laugh.  | ||||

| Hi people! there is a two day mini festival (roughly 200 people camping and 12 bands) in Ovens partly organised with the LadyFest organisers on the 14th and 15th of July. Tickets are 20 euro which includes a bus to and from the city centre. The following bands are playing: Saturday (14th): Hope Is Noise El Bastardo Elk I'll eat your face Four Faced Liar Sunday(15th): Ladydoll Janey Mac (some Dublin band) Ruth from the Girls of Summer Random Friend Selector Twisted Jack Nasty (winners of blastbeat) Baby Machê And a DJ If you'd like to get tickets just leave me or Margarita a comment and we'll sort you out. | ||||

| LadyFest Cork is a community based, not-for-profit event. It is intended to celebrate and encourage the talents of women of all ages, colour, creed, background and sexuality, while highlighting the inequalities that sadly still exist in today’s world. The festival will feature bands, artists, filmmakers, workshops and more. The core organisers of LadyFest are women, but everyone is encouraged to attend and volunteer. Our aim is to create a positive, all-inclusive forum for discussion, performance and celebration! It's taking place in Ovens, on the weekend of the 14th and 15th of July, so come along!!!! The Mache play on the 15th if you want to come along, express your hippyesque side, and support the Mache! Remember the Baby loves you  | ||||

| Ok, here's the story, Im just recovering from some kind of strange alien sickness which Margarita is now suffering from (not from exchanging body fluids I assure you) so we have had almost no practice done! We're cramming in 3 hours of practice before the sound check, so fingers crossed. Im told that the final sells out every year so be there early, we're going to be playing in front of around 200 people woo hoo! | ||||

| The prime number of groupies dilemma | 1012 dagen geleden | ||

| fuck, Anne is now a groupie, which means our number of groupies is currently 12, which unlike 11 is NOT a prime number. Here at Baby machê headquarters we do everything in our power to keep the number of groupies to a prime number. Please find someone to fill this gap, 13 is the next prime number! I'll explain why this is necessary, suppose Baby machê release a set of albums each very different and unique in its own way but the fans disagree which is the best Baby machê album, if for example our number of fans is divisible by two and we have two albums released then its entirely possible that our fan base will slit in two and battle to the death killing each other off leaving no Baby machê fans. If the group sizes are divisivible by three and baby machê have three albums the same could happen and so on for all 1, 2,... n where 'n' is an integer number of baby machê albums. However if the number of groupies is a prime number (a number that can only be divided evenly by 1 or itself) then group sizes will always be of unequal sizes meaning that the small groups will die in battle but still leaving the stronger group to survive. This of course assumes all Baby machê albums are of equal greatness and all fans are of equal strength or at least all groups of fans are of equal strength. The opposite may occur if albums don't have an equal balance of "awesomeness", for example even if our albums are of equal genius thus creating equal sized groups of fans but one album is full of "rock out with your cock out" songs such as "Infinity to the power of inifinity" and another album is full of pussy-girly signing songs such as "stars" then the first aggressive group may kill off the pussy fans even if both group sizes are equal. Baby machê will do everything in its power to vary the average "awesomeness" throughout albums to ensure equal sized groups of fans don't kill themselves off during battles. To ensure natural selection resulting in superior music fans we encourage inter-breeding among groups, babies whose parents are both part of one group may be born with serious mental illnesses or missing limbs. you have been warned PS, Margarita please remove any spelling and grammer mistakes | ||||
