| We're sad to say we've had some upcoming gigs cancelled recently: The WATERFORD gig, and the KILKENNY gig have both been cancelled for different reasons. All involved in the KK gig e.g promoter and bands have tried their hardest to relocate but to no avail, we hope to sort out another date sometime in the near future. Also the cancellation of the Waterford was completely out of our control. I could go into more detail about how people have fucked us bands over but i wont and i'll leave it at that! Keep an eye out for new dates, we'll be supporting Slave Zero in Fibbers friday week as a last minute replacement for ITF (Get well soon Kev!) TShirts coming soon too! We're happy to announce the latest addition to the Atrax Mantis Line-Up, Ferdia Bridgeman (Former "Kerbstomp" member) will join us as a second guitarist. We've been working with Ferdia over the past few months and hes gone up and beyond to learn our material. We played our first gig with him in Belfast at the end of July and we're very happy to properly announce him into the fold. Currently we're writing new material for our next CD. Hopefully we'll demo a new track or two in the upcoming months. Also we uploaded our Entire EP "Condemned to Hatred" online. So if you've a chance to check it out. The EP is still available from selected stores for a few quid each. We've numerous gigs lined up over the next few months so keep an eye out. Next gig is Dublin supporting Slave Zero, Stand Up Guy and Warpath. | It’s been a little while since our last update, but I’m very pleased to announce a few things that have happened in the Atrax camp over the past few days. Before I begin I’d just like to thank every who came to the Limerick gig especially those who came from afar to see us..we really enjoyed ourselves and its was fantastic to see all my old mates again.. First of “Condemned to Hatred” our debut CD will be released very soon. There we’re a few delays but we’ve finally got the Cd’s and we’ll be putting up details very soon on how and where you can purchase this fine product. Also we’re very pleased to announce that we’ll be playing 2 gigs in Holland along side Slave Zero in November. This will be our first time playing abroad and we’re extremely excited to play these gigs esp with our good mates Slave Zero. (what’s legal there again?) the dates are: 14th Zwaagwesteinde 15th Gorredijk both in North Holland. | Just wanted to write a quick thank you to everyone that turned out for the Kilkenny Metal Night Last night! And a big shout out to Warpath lads cant wait to play with them again in June. As for news we've finished recording and begun the mixing process, also have taken pictures for the CD thanks to www.oss237.com. Hoping for an early July release if possible we've a few gigs planned out already with loads more to come. | Unfortunately i have announce the departure of Eoin Brett (Guitar) from Atrax Mantis. We're disappointed and saddened to have Eoin leave but if it's what he wants we'll fully support him. Atrax will continue on a search for a new guitarist we wont let this set us back even though Eoin's shoes will be very difficult to fill, The recording of our first EP will continue as planned. We wish Eoin the best with any other band or anything in general. Just so there's no rumors in Kilkenny it ended on good terms and he’s still as much of a friend to us as he ever was. We're looking for a new guitarist that is comfortable will down tuning and has a love for playing Death Metal, we want a guitarist that has total dedication to band. | Well..we've been pretty busy again.For those that we're able to make it to the gig in carlow with DESECRATION..we thank you, it was fucking class to see such support there. We'll be entering the studio again this month to rerecord the new EP "Condemned to Hatred" and will be launching it in feburary. Whole line of new merch such as t-shirts and patches coming soon. | Yesterday the Metal world got the news that Vitek drummer for Decapitated died. Decapitated have been a massive influence on us as a band. Atrax will be dedicating our preformence on Sat and Sun to Vitek and his friends and family. RIP Vitek you'll never be forgotten. - T (Atrax Manits) | ||||

| It's been a busy month for us, we played our first gig in Dublin two weeks ago it went really well and we're really happy with how things have been going lately. We uploaded the final mixed and mastered version of "The Ropes End". Special thanks to Daw (kilkennymusic.com)/(ITF) for all his hard work on the mixing the Cd for us.Our 4 track mini-EP is almost finished should be released by the SANATORUIM gig. We've been confirmed for the Befouling the gates festival in Carlow which fetures death metal legands DESECRATION headlining. | Collectively the band just wants to thank everyone that came down and supported us at the BOTB final last week. Without you guys we couldn't have won the competition. Each member really wants to thank our friends and fans for there continuing support in the heats. Big shout out to the other bands Desecrate, Decadation and Pitch Black who all played great sets and we hope to play with you again in the future.
