Just to let you know that we have our next Glasgow gig at King Tuts on Friday 4 December. Doors are at 8:30pm. It's Johnny AirSpiel's birthday so feel free to come along and ply him with drink / give him a wedgie  Tickets are a mere £5 sterling for what will be our last gig of 2009. | Alright troops! Just to say a big thank you to everyone who came along to our gig at a hot and sweaty Water Rats. We had a great night, and hope you did too. We have our next London gig on Sunday 1 November at: The Underbelly 11 Hoxton Square London N1 6NU We will be on from 8:45pm - 9:15pm (which hopefully won't change this time!). Tickets are £8 on the door, or £5 if you can make it for 8pm and are on the Early Bird list. Just let one of us know and we will put you on the list! We have been pretty busy in the last few weeks and are in discussions with a dance label to get a dance remix done on one of our tracks. We will let you know when it's nearly finished, so you can get yer glow sticks and boiler suits ready :-) In the meantime we are giving away one of our new tunes Don't Hold Back away when you sign up to our mailing list at www.airspiel.com (I know, how good are we?!). The address is: MONTO 328 Grays Inn Road London WC1X 8BZ UK We should be on around 9:00pm and if you're planning to head along, and can be there before 8:30pm give me John or Rossy a shout and we will put you on the early bird list, and you can bag a ticket for a fiver! | Hi folks! Sorry we haven't been in touch for a while, but rest assured, plenty has been happening with the band! You may have already heard that Mark and Cammy are no longer with the band, and we would like to say a big thank you to them both for all of their work over the past few years. I recently made the move down to the bright lights of London, where we have our first gig on Wednesday 23 September at Monto Water Rats in Kings Cross. More details to follow soon! We have also uploaded four of our new tracks, Don't Hold Back, Jigsaw, Freerider, and Ghosts for your listening pleasure. Our new indie disco sound has been getting great feedback and we hope you enjoy it too! | Hi folks Just a quick update of whats been happening in the AirSpiel camp since the last update. Thanks to those who made it along to Pivo Pivo last night despite the shocking football result (poor show Scotland!). Cheers to Steven of Flowers In The Dustbin for sorting out the gig for us and making it a quality night! We also got a spin of our latest track Broken Record Day (Acoustic) this week courtesy of BBC Radio's Anndra Robertson. Have a wee listen to it in our music player! For those who may not have any plans for next weekend yet, why not stop by at King Tuts Wah Wah Hut in Glasgow on Saturday night (4th April) for some epic live music from AirSpiel, St Deluxe and Castaway. | Broken Record Day **Acoustic Version** | 265 dni temu | ||

| Hi Folks, We've decided to post the acoustic version we recorded during the Xmas period of Broken Record Day, so it should now be in the music player. This was the way the song was originally written before we gave it the trademark Airspiel "epic bosh" production, but this version emphasises the melacholy of the lyrics (imho :-) This is probably the rawest recording we have ever done, just two acoustics and big Stu on his violin towards the end. If you find the time to have a listen and let us know what you think, we would be very grateful for feedback. If you enjoy the track and would like us to email you the mp3, just get in touch.
