THIS CONTEST IS GOVERNED IN ALL RESPECTS BY THE LAWS OF THE UNITED KINGDOM. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED.

1. DESCRIPTION OF THE CONTEST:

The 2008 Hasbro Bop It Extreme 2 Competition (the "Contest") is a promotion whereby fans are invited to play the Bop It online Bebo application in order to achieve a high score.

2. HOW TO ENTER:

To enter, play the Bop It online application game in order to gain a score. The contestants score will be saved and recorded and ranked in accordance to other contestants.

High scores will be saved and recorded with the contestant with the highest score at the end of the competition being declared winner.


3. ELIGIBILITY:

This Contest is open to any natural persons who are legal residents of the United Kingdom & EIRE and are over the age of 13. Entrants under the age of 16 will need to get the written permission of their parent or guardian to enter this competition, as the parent or guardian of Entrants under the age of 16 will need to sign parental consent form before the Entrant can enter this competition. Employees of Hasbro or Bebo, their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, agencies and assigns, and their immediate family members (spouse and parents, children and siblings, and their spouses) as well as individuals living in the same households of such employees are ineligible. The Contest is subject to all applicable laws and regulations.


4. SELECTION OF AWARD RECIPIENTS:


The closing date for entries will be the 17th December 2008. After this date, no score recorded will be eligible for the draw. The contestant with the highest score achieved from playing the Bop It online application game by midnight (24:00) on the 17th December, 2008, will be declared the grand winner. The 10 runner ups will be chosen based on their scores as ranked at the end of the competition on the leader board.

The winners will be announced by Bebo on the 19th December 2008 on its website and will be there until December 31, 2008. After this you will not be able to obtain a list of the winners. The winners will be contacted by Bebo through Bebo mail to request personal contact details which will be forwarded to Hasbro UK limited for the fulfilment of the prizes.

All decisions of Bebo’s screening panel are final.

The prizes will have been sent out to the winners by Bebo or Hasbro by 31st January 2009 at the latest




5.THE PRIZES:

There will be one grand prize winner who will receive a prize of £250.00 cheque.
There will be 10 runners up who will each receive a Cosmic Catch (worth £24.99 RRP) and Bop it Download (worth £29.99 RRP). These prizes are non-negotiable and there will be no cash alternative.


Please note the prizes are awarded per film or photo – not per the amount of people involved in the making of the film or photo. Also, we reiterate that multiple entries by the same person does not amount to that person receiving more than one prize.

Bebo reserves the right to substitute prize(s) of an equivalent value should the prize(s) become unavailable for any reason. If any winner is not able for whatever reason to accept the prize(s) or parental consent is not given, then Bebo reserves the right to award the prize(s) to another participant.


6. CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION:

In the event of non-compliance with these Official Rules, contestants will be disqualified at Bebo’s discretion. By entering, entrants permit Bebo to use entrants' Films in marketing/advertising materials without limitation. By entering, entrants also agree to the use of their names and/or likenesses for advertising and promotional purposes without additional compensation, unless prohibited by law. By entering, entrants release and hold harmless Hasbro and Bebo,their parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, directors, officers, employees and agents from any and all liability or any injuries, loss or damage of any kind arising from or in connection with participation in this Contest or any Contest-related activities, or acceptance, possession, use and/or misuse of any award received herein, unless the law prohibits otherwise.

You agree to your personal information being used by Bebo and/or Hasbro UK Limited for fulfilment of the prize and acceptance of a prize constitutes permission to Bebo to publish your name and city of residence on this website as a list of winners as stated in 4 above.

The 2008 Hasbro Bop It Extreme 2 Competition (the "Contest") is an artistic promotion whereby fans are invited to create and submit a live action video or photo demonstrating their idea of an extreme sport.

2. HOW TO ENTER:

To enter, create a film or take a photo and upload to this website.

Film Submission Guidelines:

- Submissions must be original
- Submissions cannot show the harming of people, animals or property
- Submissions must NOT use any Equity or other guild actors, performers, crewmembers, writers, etc.
- Submissions must NOT use of any musical composition with public performance payment obligations to PRC, MCPS, ASCAP, BMI, SESAC, or any other such organization.
- Submissions must NOT use any recognisable trademarks or logos.
- Submissions containing nudity, excessive swearing, explicit sexual themes and/or graphic violence may be considered ineligible at the sole consideration of Hasbro, Bebo, the screening committee and the judging panel.

By submitting an Entry, you hereby (a) represent that you are the sole author and owner of your submission, your submission is under no restriction, contractual or otherwise, which will prevent Bebo’s use of the submission or you from meeting your obligations hereunder, and that your submission complies with the other requirements set forth in these Official Rules; (b) agree that the submission shall be free of all liens, encumbrances and claims of third parties, including but not limited to obligations to guilds, unions, or performance rights organizations (e.g. PRS, MCPS, ASCAP, BMI, SESAC or SOCAN); (c) acknowledge and agree that nothing in your submission infringes on any copyrights or trademarks, or violates any person's rights of privacy or publicity and that you have obtained all necessary releases and permissions; (d) grant Bebo the right to print, publish, broadcast and use the submission for advertising and publicity purposes including without limitation that Bebo may post the film on its website(s) without additional consideration to the entrant; (e) agree to comply with these official rules, the privacy policy and the terms of service on the “Bebo” website.
