| Hey all, it's been a while since we've updated our blog, been extremely busy this year, preparing for our EP Release to HMV and iTunes!! It's been a bit of a mad year, and the gigs have been coming in fast!! With a national radio tour going on throughout the month of August, things have been crazy, but it's all good!!! The EP is doing really well, still trying to get it on daytime radio which is certainly not easy!! Radio Stations have been saying they really love the songs, but they're too heavy for daytime radio!!!! COME ON!!! In comparison to Black Daisys last recordings, the EP is no where NEAR as heavy....but thats Irish radio for ya.....just gotta keep skalkin em till they play it more...... ; ) | ||||

| We had a super night in Bodkins on Bolton Street, Dublin last night! Shouts out to Co. Sligo eh?!! You know who you are!!! (and so do we!!) There were so many Santa's running around, jumping about and drinking plenty of the good stuff, it was quite funny! It really feels like Christmas for us now!!! We really enjoyed the gig and our audience were great craic! Thanks to Nojus for playing in our break!  Merry Christmas to all!!!!!!!! Rock on! | ||||

| We had so much fun in studio yesturday (25th of August) recording the proper version of "Dance In The Hallway" with Gerry Simpson in his gorgeous Sidetrax Studio! It was so great to record millions of tracks of guitars in a REAL studio (as opposed to my laptop hehe!) oh and its the first Black Daisy track were we actually recorded the guitars via Marshall and Line6 amps, the old school way! savage! The drums sound amazing, real, big and energetic and the bass so pumped up and full of life, so wonderful hehehe, we just love the bass line!!! Theres a tamborine thrown into the mix (sounds amazing!) and of course the vocals are brilliant, as always, you just wont be able to get the melody out of your head... we promise! Gerry Simpson is an absolute star, we love him to bits, he rocks!!! He's so talented and easy going, hallarious and fun, yay!  So watch this space! We can't wait for you all to hear the finished product! (of course, record the video...........  wink! | ||||

| The gig on Saturday was awesome, a huge big thanks to everyone who came to see us (we know who u are!!!) and many thanks for the support! we had a ball and cant wait to play Dolans again in the future! we will be posting up some photos this evening, hooray! Limerick here we come! We just can't wait for the gig on Saturday night! The week was so long countin the days down! Dolans prepare yourselves... We are playin in the Village, Wexford St, Dublin on Friday the 20th of July so anyone in the area come along, the more the merrier!! | ||||

| Yay! Finally we have uploaded some of our various recordings and the video to "Take You Over" (May 2005). "Dance In The Hallway" is our newest track, this was recorded in Steffs bedroom about 2 months ago on her MAC Laptop, the song is entirely composed, arranged, recorded and mixed by Steff and L.A. We are looking forward to recording this song properly in a REAL studio someday!! But this recording will have to do for now! *STEAL WHILE YOU CAN!* "Take You Over" and "Time's Up" were recorded in 2005 in a real studio (for want of a better word!) with super producers Chris O Brien and Graham Murphy in Dublin. We are delighted to finally have the video "Take You Over" up! The two black guys signify the two missing band members at the time, who we have finally found! (just in case you were wondering...) This was recorded in Temple Bar Music Centre by Jonathan Joly and edited by Jonathan Joly and Graham Campbell, well done lads! There was fantastic live video for "Time's Up!" (Whelans, Wexford St, Dublin) but it got lost along the way...who knows...maybe we will find it! Watch this space!!! Rock on!!!!!!!!!!!!!! | ||||
